Game Lag Post 1.6 patch

Post by NicoVanillaGreyT »

This is the only time I have ever experienced lag in my two years of playing this game. Before this month, if my game was lagging it was barely noticeable even when I set my graphics to max it played beautifully. It all started after the new patch was installed. I am forced to play on potato settings to eliminate all lag. It's horrible if I go even medium settings. Even with low settings on there is a threshold to how many players can be in a game. If the players are around 60 in total, the game plays smoothly at about a rather steady 60 fps but when it gets to 80 it starts lagging really bad. However, if I stayed far away from the other players the game just runs fine

No I do not have that program. I use Avira and only recently did I discover how much of my CPU it uses but I have been using that program for about as long as I have been playing PR so it doesn't really explain it.

We rely a lot more on cross process communication in 1.6, which anti virus don't like. Disable it when playing PR

In a bid to eliminate the lag, I updated all of my drivers but then it only gave my graphics epilepsy. Lag is still there and now my graphics are glitching tf out. Forgot to mention I switched to another monitor for a while which is actually where the lag started Image
