This error usually means that the shortcut is broken and you need to launch PRLauncher.exe manually. It is located in

Code: Select all

Project Reality/Project Reality BF2/mods/pr/bin

If the broken shortcut is indeed the reason of the error, you do not have to reinstall the game.






If the error continues and you don't have PRUpdater.exe in the above directory, it means you actually have to reinstall the game. Before you do that, make sure the updater is not blocked by some kind of anti-virus software.

I did that, but now it's showing another error:

62: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Make sure you don't have any other PRLauncher.exe or updater running in task manager
Or restart your PC
