Having the MEC with non-optic weapons vs the insurgents seems less fun to play, on both sides. It just changes the dynamic of Fallujah game play too much.
A lot of fun action on Fallujah takes place at longer distances, as well as closer. The terrain always gave it a good variation in action across the map. The pickup kits on the Ins side added a good balance to fighting the US with optics.
The MEC with irons just seems lame, and they don't seem to fit the scenario.
People I play with that traditionally like Fallujah seem to be annoyed by the MEC one running also.
It would seem better and more accurate to change the MEC to the Brits, U.S. Army, or another Western force with optics we don't see much.
But, at the very least change it to the MEC with optics.

I agree. But the scoped G3 would demolish the insurgent team into submission. One shot marksman rifle for everyone? Not a fun time. The flaws are not with blufor but with the lack of easily accessible kits, scopes and rockets on opfor. If the insurgent team had ready access to requestable kits, it would solve many more problems than it could possibly create.
The same problem exists on sbeneh. But the tickets are higher and caches are lower(If they didn't change it since I last played it a while back). And the syrians have access to requestable kits and spawnable rockets to even out the odds.

Not sure how that would be. The INS have 4 pickup Sniper kits, and you can get an RPG almost any time you want it.dcm wrote:The flaws are not with blufor but with the lack of easily accessible kits, scopes and rockets on opfor.

Most of the time rpgs are all gone from the cache, when needed most, wasted by morons. I think that insurgents should atleast be able to request kits like rpg, svd, pkm and especially rifleman off the cache. I dont think the pickups should be eliminated for the insurgents, but requested kits be added for them instead. Kinda like how arf has it. Pickup kits in main only.WingWalker wrote:Not sure how that would be. The INS have 4 pickup Sniper kits, and you can get an RPG almost any time you want it.
Also for the love of god. I want to be able to look like a civi but have a concealed weapon on me. Just a knife would be fine. Get upclose and personal and when he comes to arrest you, ya shank his ***.
