Crash to Desktop - No Error. dmp not found

Post by Zooky »

I have recently updated and attempted to launch PR where the game will CTD after launching.

Searching the threads I attempted to download and use the "package" suggested in this thread:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showth ... p?t=152112

This had no results.

I have since attempted to create a .dmp file using the guide from thread:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/showth ... p?t=147961

However I am unable to find the directory needed to find and upload the dump.

According to the text:
"Procdump will close together with PR and generate a .dmp file next to procdump.exe. You need to upload this .dmp file and send it to the developers."

The file, I guess, should be located somewhere near the procdump exe file.
I can't find it either at Desktop shortcut or filepath: C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Procdump

The video ends abruptly at the point where it should generate a .dmp file so I am at a loss.

A thread search for ".dmp" under "General Technical Support" forum yielded no results and "PR:BF2" yields 8. Unfortunately no of which resolve this particular issue, including the aforementioned guide.

What I can see is people are using this tool with little to no issue, so I have no idea what to do next.

The package was installed successfully, right?

Run procdump using the first method (through command line). That way the procdump window will stay open after PR closes. Screenshot the window output and post it here. In some rare circumstances procdump won't generate a .dmp file, the window output should indicade that .dmp generation failed.
