eh.., is this a concept or what(duh) if this are a concept at least make the Plan and Whats the weapon, vehicle, emplacements, maps(or any map will be edited in the future) and whats the war based off yet. This'll confuse all players on the Forum of the point of this thread, otherwise the R-MOD or the R-DEV are going to shut this down and lock it so make it understandable, ik you're planning to create African Union to the game but you might had to request a permission straight from the R-DEV if they will allow to revive the project, also one thing you also had to list a team that will help you bcs well, its just impossible that only 1 person who are able to create these lol. Also some asset that you need might aren't in the game and had to model or remodel and code or recode it are going to be an hard job for ye so........

Pretty sure this is a reskin of the current African Rebels team. We need a reskin for Ramiel aswell (*wink wink* if you want some ideas this is a great one), The early 2k's late 90s USMC/US Army skin

Opposite. AU is effectively African version of EU, aka conventional faction originally intended to fight different African insurgency factions.

Well in that case they most likely will weaponry that we already have in game. Perfect place for them would probably be on Sahel then to replace the French Army.

What assets/weapons should the AU use

The retexture looks nice!
The original AU faction was intended as a fictional army similar to the MEC. As such it could use a wide mix of old soviet, modern Russian, NATO and even Chinese equipment.

In essence it is MEC like semi fictional faction.

I always thought that (at least in equipment part) AU could be based on SANDF with extra staff being added based on equipment used by other African militaries. Effectively, having faction with Galil (on which R4/R5 were based) or FAL, with large list of wheeled AFVs would definitely be nice change of pace compared to other modern factions of PR, mixed in with western and eastern additions.

i still remember when PR was gonna get a African Union faction, but only the African Resistance Forces came out

and now looks like they're coming back, reminds me of the Africa mod for Squad, which will have
-African Insurgents
-African Militia
-African Union

and we have seen some stuff like a BMP-2 if i remember, a technical, a Lee Enfield, a M79 Thumper, a UZI, a M16A2 with underbarrel grenade launcher and Colt 4x optic, along with a African Union soldier with French lizard camo

oh yeah we also are getting a South African Border War, a Rhodesian Bush war mods and a post 1994 South Africa faction mod which is awesome :D
glad to see PR getting a AU faction mod
