WIN7: "An unhandled exception has occured."

Good day to all. This is my first time making a forum post on this website, and it is related to my client not working for some reason.

Today I opened PR after a long period of not playing and was greeted with a message asking me if I want to update the game. I clicked "yes", and the download started. After the download ended, a window opened with the following text:

"An unhandled exception has occured. Details are as follows:

Method not found: '!!0[] System.Array.Empty()'.

Further details can be found in the following file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\mods\pr\bin\PRLauncher.log

Please report this error to the Project Reality Team, and include the log file in your report."

How do I fix this? I am by no means an experienced player nor very tech savvy. Can someone help me?

Install .net 4.7.2. It does not come pre-installed with Windows 7.
