Auto deploy feature breaks game once slot opens up

Whenever I use the auto deploy feature and a slot opens up, the screen begins to flicker while displaying the "Joining Server..." message and the actual Auto Deploy screen. I am unable to exit this state, and restarting the game entirely is the only fix.

I am yet to be able to join a server using the auto deploy feature after approx. 20-25 attempts. This bug happens 100% of the time. I have attempted reinstalling the game to no avail. I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like some sort of graphical issue. Have you tried clearing your shader cache?

Try this first:

...you might also try clearing the DX Cache in Disk Cleanup:

Auto join not working correctly is a game bug, it is not related to shader cache. We do not know why for some people it works fine while for others it never behaves as intended. It might be fixed at some point.

That's really a shame. The HOG server is the only populated speaking English server and is nearly always full. Auto deploy was therefore virtually the only real way of me playing Project Reality at all. Guess I'm forced to just uninstall and move on then.
