What class a chopper comes into mainly comes down to it's lifting capacity (hence the name, light/medium/heavy lift), and this new version can only lift a little bit more than the old version, (max takeoff weight minus empty weight = 5,840kg) which is still almost half the amount of the Chinook's lifting capacity (11,532kg).

Also the old Mi-8 had a ramp too, it just wasn't modelled on, and the Merlin has a ramp as well and is a medium-lift too, the list goes on :p

How will be the handling? Will it be like the COW before the patch?

Is it gonna replace fully the Transport version? I imagine having the problema of wanting crates and wont be available due to TRANS-CAS -_-

I think it is obvious that this helupter will get the same treatment as the Sokol, a normal unarmed trans version and an armed CAS version. I also don't know why everyone is already crying about balance, when we already have the Hind-F with 128 80mm rockets and a fucking 30mm cannon plus ATGMs and it still gets easily shit on by AA and tanks, with tanks probably being the No.1 killer of it, since after an attack run it will inevitably end up at low altitude.

In theory an armament such as this can be devastating, but in practise the helupter will barely get to use it longer than a few seconds because of all the threats present.
Not only did the DEVs totally throw off the CAS/AA balance and make TOWs useless against tanks, no that was not enough. They also had to introduce their most controversial change yet, a 16 character limit on player names.
