FPV Drone modeling for new game mode, CAD/3D Modeling Volunteer Initiative

Post by Grump/Gump.45 »

Project Reality was really the first of its kind of simulation, so it should be the first to have an FPV versus infantry game mode. This is going to be a nightmare.

The FPV drones need to be miniaturized helicopter style controlled FPV drone vehicle models, with their own faster manuever physics of course. Set speed to what it is in real life for each type.

I suggest running it from a bunch of commander tents in main with multiple seats for a FPV drone spawn spot, re-arm on helpads. The drone team is not allowed to leave main base. This is about surviving drone attacks while moving from flag to flag, FPV drones should be able to cap.

Types of FPV drones to date, using both quad(4), hexacopter(6) and octocopter(8). Different sizes for mounting different weapon platforms, each has their own physics.

-Surveilance
-Rifle
-RPG launcher
-Kamikazi
-Shotgun drone with 2 barrels
-Explosive Dropper
-Thermite dragon (use ingame napalm)
-Machine gun thermal
-Automatic grenade launcher thermal

Set up same as limited kits, but they are vehicles with tickets, still have flags to defend to concentrate the combat.

3 flags, the close you get to the flag close to drone main the faster the attacks come in. The tactical potential of drone distracting for another drone. Its mind games

We have the assets needed, throw a CROWS M240 upside down on the Quadcopter drone

This will be very entertaining and interesting for both sides. If progress is made towards each type of model, then mounting the weapons, it could have an early infancy stage game mode.

Infantry on the ground get unlimited breacher kits with shotguns and every other kit limited still the base game has to take out 500 attacking drones from 50 players. 4 machine guns, 4 Automatic rifleman. Same deal, just everyone can have a shotgun if they choose breacher. Breacher kit is the new rifleman.

This experience will cause you to grow neurogenetically, your offspring will potentially have neurologically programmed survival reactions to what you do here. Also this will help improve real life drone survival.

The most dishonorable, brutally scary way to kill, unlimited FPV drones, the extermination potential is war crime potential. The drone team doesn't ever die, they just lose a bunch of flying controlled FPVs as tickets.
1 Man per piece of cover, Move cover to cover. In view of each other to save each other by shooting, distraction, division of enemy attention and ammo. 1 man hit per RPG/tank shell/mortar spread formation full time. Edge of cap zone. Use camouflage, police up each others exposure, no man seen sticking out. Scan aggressively with eyes and ears for anything suspect, even for birds disturbed to fly out of trees

FPV is not suitable for PR game time. In the PR world view timeline, FPV was not common at that time. FPV only appeared in large areas in recent years. For the current PR game, it is not suitable for PR.

There is also issue of game engine not supporting remote controlled drone. These are things I've only read rumors about so don't quote me on this but if drone is implemented as an aircraft, drone pilot dies along with drone, or even worse, can jump out of the drone behind enemy lines. And control mechanism of the TV guided missile doesn't support hovering.
