Mumble not connecting can be caused by network issues. The first thing you should try is to Alt-Tab to desktop and quit mumble from the icon next to your taskbar clock. Mumble will then restart automatically. If it doesn't fix the issue then you can try VPN. If VPN works then it's time to talk to your ISP because there is something wrong with your internet connection.

Hello, I think this is the correct place to ask but please correct me if I'm wrong. I am experiencing a somewhat similar issue, where the "PRMumble disconnected" Icon is shown in the bottom right of my HUD when I enter a server. I tried to Alt+Tab and close PRMumble, but it does not reopen on its own; in fact when I reopen it manually, the Mumble log reads "failed to connect to Proxy" and "reconnecting" in loop for a few times.

I have tried to completely reinstall the game, to check the mumble keybindings both in the PR Launcher and in-game, I tried connecting to a VPN, to check that the correct input and output devices were selected both in PC and PRMumble settings, but still I can only hear people speak yet can't be heard by them.
This obviously translates to: I was kicked from every server and haven't been able to enjoy a match since I discovered this game.
I hope someone can help and, again, sorry if I posted in the wrong place.

But now that we're here, check that your antivirus is not blocking prbf2.exe, prlauncher.exe, or the folder where they are installed in, or your %APPDATA%\Project Reality or %LOCALAPPDATA%\Project Reality folders.

Also make sure there is only one prmumble.exe running in the task manager process list. If there are more than one, kill them all and let PR launch the correct one for you. It is safe to kill prmumble.exe at any time.
