Here would be my suggestions:
- The island in the middle of the lake should not be so close the land.
- Make the lake just a bit bigger in diameter and as well, the island.
- Make a circulatory road going up to the top of the volcano and make some sort of flat top area around the volcano. Maybe put a cross or something up on the top of it. (I was on the top of Mount Nicaragua.. the large volcano in Nicaragua and there was this cool thing with steps leading up to a big cross and a couple hut looking buildings up on top.... really cool thing.)
- Make one of the CPs at the top of the volcano.
Some images to help you with the terrain surroundings, textures, shrub ideas, etc.

Oh, nice choice. Some dumpy little Islands off the coast of Japan. China has been eying those things for a while because they have a large abundance of Natural Gas and Oil reserves off-shore of them.'[R-MOD wrote:Dylan']Well, I am underway creating a new map. Yunasaka Island is kind of a lame name, but since its based off the real life island, I thought w/e.
I spent a few hours on it, but havnt gotten very far. Heres a screenie of what it looks like ATM.
No sarcasm was intended in the making of this post.
Edit: Dylan is it true? Don't stop work on this please! This map could be a very, very realistic scenario for the modern day Chinese to act out. They need that oil and natural gas, and they have been threatening the Japanese saying that the islands belong to them. Going so far to performing Naval exercises and the firing of live shells near the island, if they went to war with the US or Japan they would attack those things in an instant.
Sorry for the little speech, I just think this a wonderful idea for a map...

I don't even have the file for the map ever since I got this new computer. I put it up for download a while ago, but I haven't checked if the link still works. Also, the map is too small to be in PR, this isn't Al Basrah. However if the link still works, that means anyone could edit it. The files were not even packed, so it was editable straight away.
I appreciate the nice comments, and I too like the map. I just don't feel like I have the motivation to do it right now.
