I wish that I could fly into the sky, so very high
Just like a dragonfly
I'd fly above the trees over the seas in all degrees
To anywhere I please

Oh I want to get away
I want to fly away
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Ha, I have yet to see one go that straight for that distance. I've watched other players fire them, and I have fired a few dozen at least, and never do I see them going straight for that distance. Hell even half that distance. I have tested several different ways, and still can't even hit a tank at say 75 meters. If I do it seems to be PURE LUCK! Maybe it's an anti-air in the picture and not an RPG.

Once I was on the roof just above the second floor. I walked to the edge zoomed in with the PRG, centered my crosshairs and waited for like 10 seconds before firing. I missed a tank that was not even moving. The tank was out in the open, and didn't even know I was there. The tank was about 65 meters away. He was beside a flag area. The only way I could hit him was to move very close to the tank, and fire. I was so close then when the tank was hit, I took damage from the explosion. I have a solid build since I uninstalled and reinstalled BF2 with patches and PR 0.5. I don’t have any issues hitting anything else on any other map, but I do when I’m on this one. Even with a very low ping of around 30 in game.

I have yet to play US side on Al Basrah in the 5 hours that I’ve played on the map. It doesn’t really matter what server I seem to join. Each time I join it seems the US side has more players on it, and I can’t switch to the US side. Seems I’m stuck on the Insurgent side, and I always seem to see the same names on the US side just racking up easy kills. It’s kind of ridiculous to always see 6 or 7 players on the US side with something like 50 to 70 kills while only getting 6 or so deaths. It’s kind of normal to see one maybe 2 players with high kills, but not NEARLY 10 players each and every time. It is funny how I always see the same names on US side most of the time. These are just some of my observations. But what do I know.

A lot you guys may not be seeing any of this sort of stuff, but I sure am.

That IS an RPG I was the one firing it...duckhunt was a witness.

Don't know if it was extreme(and constant luck..) or the fact that i stand still for a while aiming.
I noticed that my rushed shots veer of while my aimed ones rarely do. It may be luck: but i doubt it. ask duckhunt to verify. :)

edit: perhaps we will play a round tommorow and we can test it then ok?

First let me say that I'm not accusing anyone of lying or anything like that. I'm just trying to explain how things are happening on my end. My bubby is having similar issues, but he doesn’t do the forum thing. I've seen posts in other topics of others having somewhat similar issues. I've tried standing still for a while before firing as well. Even that seems iffy at best. Most of the time I get picked off while standing still. It seems easy pickings for snipers and other long range shooters.

Yeah I'd like to get together and play a round or two. Maybe you can teach me a thing or two about a thing or two. I usually play very late I night. I've got a brand new baby in the house, so she keeps me up late with feedings and all. My wife is usually nagging me to get off the PC and spend some time with the fam. Not to mention I usually work late in the evenings. Once in a while I can get on in the mornings, if I try real hard :)

I remember setting a roadside bomb, but I got bored waiting, so I was like Darth, goto move command and setup an IED. When you got there i detonated it, lol. sry.

WN 24/7 Helmand/Basrah. This battle lasted 30 min - 1 hour (see how there is every possible hole in all structures?). I was on the insurgents. It started out with only 9 people in the server, then grew to about 30. People were chattin over VOIP, teamwork was goin on, I blew some guys out of buildings, I told everyone that we had 3 squads all at Whiskey, and we needed to spread out to Victor (UK controlled). I stayed back and defended with about 5-8 friendlies against the British (25 tickets on our side left), and they overran us at the end. So we started shooting rapidly yelling ALLAH HUAKBAR!, and launching grenade launchers with 1 ticket left on each side. And we prevailed!

268 points, 1-0, Insurgents win. DAMN STRAIGHT! Best PR round evah right there. Rounds like that are what make this mod what it is!

(BTW, this server disables Land Rovers so no crashing! )
