While playing Al Basrah, I was the pilot of a BH, deploying troops and what not, when a base was ambushed, by at least 12 people. The USMC troops defending it were calling for extraction but no one came... except for me. Having an empty BH (which isn't very often) I rush over there to my teammates aid.
The base was extremely confined, the squad leader and squad mates were panicking, I found a good extraction zone and landed there. They rushed over to me the base being demolished, the whole squad made it to me, and we turned around and headed back to the airport for repairs. Everyone was in OK condition, someone wanted revenge, the SL wanted his base back. We get 1 tank and a jeep to go with us, as we fly near the base, we were shot down...
Spinning out of control, the people in the back start screaming (or so I like to think they would have in RL.) I crash land us outside of the base, Everyone runs out of the crash site, I run out with them. They thank me for what I did and a jeep comes by and evacs me from the area. (The BH didn't make it but they make more every day.)
They later capture the base, and we won a little later, it was my dream come true right there, I was a hero to the squad and the team, sadly I didn't get to fly again that round , but all that was well worth it!!
Troop extraction (made by me) and a wonderful comeback

Argh, I had a good round on TB Basrah last night with my AA squad, untill some smartass
BH went hiding behind the Hotel and popped up every so often..I couldnt get a lock on him, because the SA-7 locked onto the burning hotel
Basically both BHs were the only ones that didnt get shot down, they landed at South and North VCP and turned back as fast as possible or flew 5 m above the ground and hid behind the buildings, so we couldnt see them...
In one occasion, both A10s came back only to panicly crash into the city, as we locked onto them
Cobra's hovered 200 m above and was really funny at start, when every other Insurgent was pinned down, then the Super Cobra turned to charcoal all of a sudden...lot of people LOLed
I want to thank Emnyron and Expendable grunt, altough he has a different nickname in the game, for all what you did
But next time, we are changing positions every once in a while...think, we made the USMC stick their heads together in attempt to hunt us down...hehe.

This was a while ago, when .5 first came out.
I was this time in an f-16 aircraft, with my wingman getting ready for yet another exciting bombing run, when we were taken by surprise by some enemy planes. The first thing I saw was my wingmans plane go up in smoke, (but I saw a parachute and he was recovered later.) I start pulling evasive maneuvers, I kick-stop and get behind one and BOOM!!! He's out of the fight, the leader was the only one left.
It was a heavy dogfight, I swear the fighting stopped for at least 1 minute to watch. Then I'm hit... hard. Realising my issue, I begin to panic, my warning sound went off, I bailed. After touching down, an enemy attack helicopter was hunting me.
I hide under tree's, in bushes, behind buildings, in buildings, to stay alive. A BH clearly saw my issue, and landed nearby. The attack helicopter saw me trying to escape and get back to the carrier. This pilot was amazing, he got picked me up, got up and away before anything hit us, spun around, and the gunners just obliterated the copter. I was returned to my carrier, looking around, only 1 plane was there... just sitting there. Pilots waiting to prove themselves didn't get in, the commander then said in chat "you deserve a second shot" or something like that. I launch and, well, I killed the guy who shot me down, then the round ended. I'll tell you it was one of my favorite rounds ever!
Been a while since I've flown though, probably not as good anyomore lol
