Insurgency

I was reading the forums and saw the post about the changes in the game mode so I go on there with my buddy, StrkTm Murder City Devil, and we go and are on GB. He is squad lead and he tells me to get an apc. So I do and we roll East to the far bridge and swoop around to the main road, to patrol the area looking for ammo dumps. We are rolling along in a convoy of two apcs and a land rover, I am in the lead. So we head down the main road and there is a civi standing there and I went to roll him over for intel. Right has I was about to hit him he backs up and HELLO there is mine there. Luckily I stopped like half an inch before it. I turned onto the right side of the street and take off. But there was another mine there. I hit that one but we servived. The rest of the convoy broke off down the alleys so me and my gunner were alone. So now we are damaged by this mine but nothing really serious. I continue to go down the street. Thats when I new we were being ambushed. There was about two squads on all the rooftops down that road, both sides also. We are being pelted by small arms fire and my gunner is doing the best he can to hit these guys.
Then two RPGS fly right over our warrior. Somehow we made it down the street and I thought we were out of the killzone when a technical pulls comes down the street with a gunner and starts unloading on us. It doesnt really do any damage but he had C4 stuck on his grill. So now Im yelling 12oclock. Before the gunner shoots him the technical makes it too us but I serve and hit a wall. The technical did not set off his C4 so he swoops back around to get us and Im jammed in this wall, trying to get out. My saved us by killing him. After that we still took small arms fire from the roofs but we made it out, joining the rest of our squad out in the desert to repair. I LOVE THIS GAME MODE. In the previous Insurgency this never happened. But the new update was GREAT.

There was no "previous Insurgency"
This is a new game mode, nothing like Xtract or AAS v2..

And see, thats why I like Basrah without a lot of RPGs. If this was 0.5, you'd get RPG'd from every corner in 10 seconds...
