Man, that was a great round.
Started as the brits. At this time 12 players were online.
So after aboutan hour (maybe half an hour) BF2 crashed to the desktop as i clicked the firebutton.
Ok...restart the game, join the server.....great......insurgent team and no way to switch back. (the server went crazy and unbalanced teams again and again).
We just had palace left. The Bridges were all down, and some friendly brit spawned the palace from the other riverside.
At that time it was 7 brits and 4-5 insurgent.......which became about balanced teams the last 20 minutes.
So....noone would take that game serious. Overnumbered insurgents being spawnraped by an enemy apc.
So i wrote some stuff in public. For example "hahaha...stupid metal bird" after i shot down the helo.
But the i saw the weakpoint of the enemy...i sneaked around the east...swimming through the river....approaching from behind with my ambusher.
That was great. I had to sneak and watch and hear like crazy. Three times i could have kill some brit but didn't because they would recognise me then.
So i secretly came near the apc. Just at that moment the brits built up a bunker and an AA-Gun neneath the apc.
I just saw them as i charged to the apc and decided just to plant one pack of C4.......so the apc was not desroyed but me.....taken down by numerous bullets.
Spawning again....but stop! Some genius left a spawncar from us at north vcp.
So i got in there took my RPG at the dump and drove through the city.
Suddenly...i got shot from a brit who was still in the city...i pressed the gas-pedal to the ground and reached the river.
Quickly i jumped into the river just as the apache flew by....gladly it didnt see me so i could go on. Hiding behind a wrecked car i waited until noone watched in my direction and finally jumped out and fired my missile upon that steal-beast.
I used the enemys confusion to reload and place the final hit. The enemy was still confused so i could escape through the river again.
I wrote "where is your god now??" on public and 10 seconds later someone started a voting to kick me. He was in my team so i asked why he would kick me. "because you are the most retarded guy in this game". "oh that's a great reason".
At the end i was not kicked (5 votes; 8 needed).
I mean that was just stupid. I just had some fun as Insurgent doing some stuff like blowing myself up. We could never take any flag back because it was so greatly unbalanced and we were camped like hell.
I took down the chopper, the apc and the entire base as you will read later...
This is just a game guys.
"What now?" I thought...."I have just this little pistol and OH SH**!!" The brit i met in the city before finnaly reached my position and sht a few rounds from behind but didn't hit.
I jumped around the corner and shoot randomly at the direction the shoots came from. "That's it.....i have no chance."
But then...i saw this big red beauty standing around. One look left and right to safety cross the road and i was in (i wonder where the other guy was).
I was lucky because the bridge i needed to drive over was still intact. I rushed over it, turned right and just recognised i was in the wrong road and would just drive right in front of the enemys position.
"Nevermind. Allah will guide me!!"
Just this curve left....and there it was....the enemys outpost fortified with sandbags. But they were poorly placed and i could drive right through it.
The soldiers and the AA opened fire in panic but it was too late.
In a mighty burst of fire and dust the entire base was taken out.
That was the end of the round. We had no more tickets. But it was fun and our team had more points with two guys than the entire british at the end.
Ah and the screenshot. I first would post this into the screenshot thread but it got so long i decided to make a new thread
Guess who was in the APC. You'll get a cookie for the right answer.
This is just a game

Actually, the only thing in the base that got knocked out was the vulcan. Base was fully operational again in 30 seconds.
Btw I voted no on ya, not sure what the kick vote was about.
Also I saw ya running on the RPG attack, Fire a couple of clips into you as you got to the other side of the river (Mosque side) headed down the alley but couldn't land a shot on ya.
(The Bomb truck next to the recently repaired vulcan - I'm got killed trying to set up sand bags closer to the river. )

Yeah i ran like hell after the RPG attack.
And i just thought the base was down, because all i could see before the round was over was smoke and dust.
Also i was glad i could blow up the truck, because just at the moment i reached the sandbags i lagged like hell and i got a frozen-frame.
I would have steered more to the left to get the commander truck, too but it was impossible.
Just as the truck was blown up 2 or 3 seconds ago there was movement on my screen again.
@Ecko: The kick vote was exactly about what i have written.

Some good names there.
I know we all want the community to grow but it's nice that it is still small and you can recognize a lot of names.
Back in the dark ages ( vBF ) I rarely saw the same player twice in week let alone in the same day and I played a lot then.

And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

mm I was chasing civilians that round, they were bugging me each time and when I got close they jump in the water . Was a fun round but did not realise till the end that the insurgent team had so few players. And I barely escaped from that bomb truck heading for the aa gun (wich I was in atm).
Thanks Dennis for making this sig!
