Noone who is sane would deploy a heavy-at kit for PR on the British/USMC side in albasrah.

I don't care how good you are with it (and i say without modesty that i am good with it), you can never guarantee it won't fall into enemy hands. They have absolutley no armour to fire at, nothing that a light-at can't deal with. Sure its good for bunker busting, or clearing out "houses of pain" but its too much of a liability to take into close terrain which you should be doing on that map.

If i was SL or commander i would tell my team never to take heavy-AT. on that map.

Here's hoping for fully implemented massive backblast soon

My squad once killed an USMC squad of 4 on 0.5 Basrah, I checked the kits and one guy had Heavy AT...

Destroyed a fully operational tank and 2 Cobra's :D

Of course, my SL and squad didnt realize, what this means, so I got sniped and no one was there to pick up the kit or save it.

This one time when I was driving a jihad car towards the VC from the east, heading for the north entrace, I came across a parked merlin on the road with 4/5 brits getting in/out. It was my favourite jihad ever... :)

I disagree, if you have a well secured VC, it's good for defending against any jihad vechicles etc...

most underused because -> it's bugged!

I can't fly it because I get lags every few seconds in it.
btw - why have a big *** merlin on Operation Ghost Pain?! Give 'em brits the small MEC transport chopper :P

Blowing the 3 bridges from the palace to the mainland means that the insurgents cant use any of the jihad vehicles from the palace, because the civilians have the same wrench as the crewman kit and cant repair bridges.

But I have seen brits blowing the bridges over the river to the airport to stop jihad vehicles getting to the airport but that will also keeps the warriors from getting to the city and thats just silly.

Nowwww, that's interesting... didn't know they had the crewman wrench.

*NOW* I have a plan for every time I play Brits on that map.

like all metal things need wrench, all other structures need shovel

You can use the shovel to fix the citadel door on seven gates ;)

I made an alternate account for flying merlins, his name is mister merlin, i'm currently trying to convince my girlfriend to buy BF2 so misses merlin can play.
