Ambushing, BOO YA!

Post by Danthesandman »

aint it so rewarding taking out a full car of enemy troops without having to get down to the road. one moment i remember was on mestia and i was a militia... that doesnt look right, ow well. and i was by the quadbike nxt to the shack. I was a sapper so I attached some c4 to it and drove it out 2 the road just North. as i started heading up to Munition I heard an APC coming down to take West from behind. so i hoped out leaving it in the middle of the road and jumped into some bushes. the fool came charging down the hill at full speed "prob cos he was in enemy teritory" came up to the quad and thought "that aint gonna stop me!"
so he rams it and I blow it. was freakn sweet 2 cos there was bout 4 in it.

so has any1 else ever done a number on a vehicle?

Kashan 32, in a cobra. Two hummers racing down the road, *very* close together; then I shoot a TV missile at the space between them killing them both

On Basrah I took out a full jeep and an apc half manned at the bridge, was a brit jeep left on it, so rigged it with explosives and just waited for someone to drive by. Couldn't believe my luck.

The 32-Player version features attack-helicopters instead of jets, while still maintaining the same size.
Since you can easily play the 32-kashan with 64 players, I highly prefer it to the 64-Kashan, at least until the jets are fixed/finished.

On Desert Storm playing as insurgents I was able to get my squad back to the gate after it had been taken and successfully ambushed 3 commander vehicles, 2 apcs and 2 humvees before getting taken out. Wish I could've seen the commanders face when the entire squad opened up on him the first time coming through the gate.

ok heres what i did as an insurgent in albasra map. first i took a car a "toyota" and took it to the side of the road coming from the brit main to the vehecle checkpoint, i put a c4 on it and blew it up(i did it so that the brits wont suspect anything) and went back to the wreckage and rearmed and put 2 more C4s(i noticed that if you keep rearming, your previous C4s wont disapear) on the side of it facing the road. then waited until i saw a worrier coming down the road. and he drove right by my trap, and BOOOM a succesfull VBIED :24_smoker

We quickly seized control of the VCP as Insurgents, its started getting boring as British did nothing about it and their tickets bleeded, so I took a jihad car, loaded with C4 and speeded up the process a lil bit.

3 IFVs and 1 confirmed infantry kill, not sure, if I killed any more of them

one time on Bashrah me and my whole squad had RPGs and a technical to each guy and we all sat in the city and ambushed anything that entered it... it was freaking sweet.. like 6 rockets hitting a landrover is pretty cool and then we had the MG's for any infantry..

This one time on Basra, I drove my jihad car into a Merlin which landed on the road north of the VCP. They never saw it coming. 5 men killed and a tirade of laughter!
A simply awesome moment in my PR gaming history.

When the Merlin landed right next to me on Basrah, everyone including the pilot got out and searcher for a weapons cache there was no there. I didn't take the risk to fire my AK, fearing for my life, so I waited by the Merlin, with my AK out for self defence. Everyone got in and it started warming up. I pulled out my mootov cocktail and KABOOMSKI! Nerlin plus a full passenger load=in hell :D
