Holy ****... (PR has teamwork and is great!)

Post by hurts »

I just went through and epic session. The Map: Assualt on (forgot). The Server: DVB. My Ingame Name:1staccount.

So, i was playing, starts out with a small sqaud, and i get into it...i start acting Komandar Odenyenta(Squad Leader in russian), start talking like one, and soon i have a nice little squad. I have my XO, 10%hamburger, my seargent Billy756 or something, a Coproal, and a private. Pretty much, i actually encountered teamwork. We worked together, they listened to my orders as the squad leader, and we had a good commander. Now, hamburger tried to add my to steamfriends, but maybe something got messed up, so, anyway, if he should come by to look at this: hunter3622

This mod is epic.

Great job and welcome to the forums. hope you dont mind, and if you do, tough :) , but I added a line to the threads title. just try to be a bit more descriptive when naming a thread. There are a TON of threads called "Oh Wow" or "Check This Out!" and it gets old having to go into them to see its about something you arent interested in. :)

That being said,
Glad to see you encountered some teamwork, sometimes, sadly, it can be hard to come by on certain servers. But, the rounds you do have it on are the BEST hours in my week of gaming.

:)
Welcome!

I was in another squad on for that game. The last 2 minutes were so sick. The brits were pushing us back past perimiter outposts, but my squad rushed to the little hill above the bunker on perim 2. The brits come pouring out of the bunker and we just mowed them down. It was awesome.

But shouldn't this be in the Tales from the Front Lines forum?

It's fairly awesome to play a teamwork-oriented game or mod and actually encounter lots of teamwork in a session.

Merlin Teamwork is the best. I had 600? pts being the piolt and having my squaddies drop C4 on targets, and having a saw gunners shoot stuff. We spot a spawn car, I loop around hover briefly, drop c4, and then blow it. We also did that to the 4 bridges in the Insurgent main base. Got taken out twice tho, one to my own stupidity staying still too long, and the other was epic. Hit by RPG: "Ok guys I got to get back to base" *Hydraulics stop working, and engine sputters* Thoughts "Shit" Words said over VOIP "O SHIT BRACE!"

I led a British squad that night against you guys 1staccount, had a blast! We went from East Tower -> Munitions -> Perimeter Base 1. You guys kept us out of the Main Base until the end of the game, well done!
