Amubsh!

Post by hurts »

Right, this occured last night. Anyway, i was in a squad, having fun, cause we communicated well and worked together well. So, we get an order to go capture the south village. Sounds good, right? Wrong. So we get there, nothings happening for a little, then suddenly, a puff of blood comes off the head of the guy in front of me, and he drops. We all sprint to the houses. We call in a sniper, but command says we can't get any reinforcments yet. If that isn't bad enough, when we ask them for extraction, they say the blackhawk's ETA is 20 minutes. So we creep around town, avoiding being seen. Suddenly, a guy calls us over. We come, and see a bad sight. About 8 troops coming towards us. Now this was bad, because there were now 4 of us, and 8 of them. And to make matters worse, command has informed us the blackhawk got killed by an enemy frogfoot. So, we hide, and take up defenses. When they get real close, we open up. Now, by some miracle, I had decided on choosing the Automatic Riflemen kit earlier, so i though i'd do good. They got close to us, and we opened up. I mowed down 3 of them initaly, and my squad swept up 3 more fast. The other 2 tried to retrate, but the no-sqaud marksman with us shot them both. Also by a miracle, 2 squadmembers had come back from an ordeal that began before this story began (they got left behinde in the middle of the desert.) So we now had 1 Officer, 2 riflemen, 2 medics, and one field engineer. And after that, more good news; the blackhawk was back up, ETA 30 seconds. As you can imagine, the blackhawk was like a saving angel when it came in. But we weren't done this yet. The field engineer reached it first...and then, disaster, just before he got in, it blew up, killing both gunners and pilots, along with the squad engineer. I don't know what happened, nobody did at the time, but we dove for cover. Then, more bad luck; the sniper shot one of the medics in the head, and he died. The other medic couldn't get close enough to revive him, it was too risky. A stray mec riflemen walked into the village, and, unfourtunatley, managed to sneek up and kill the marksman that had come with us. Then my SL shot him in the back of the head. Then, one of our riflemen got sniped. Suddenly, we heard something; we looked up and saw an A-10. He fired with his cannons and missles at a place in the mountain, and the sniper never fired again. A few minutes later, a bradley arrived to carry us out of hell; out of an ambush.

This all really happened.
