Covert operation

Post by mr_bad4u »

I love the fact that there is no UAV bullshit in PR. This makes covert operation very fun. One guy can penetrate behind enemy line and make a big impact. For instance, one time the whole city was over ran by the enemy. I was alone on a roof top with no allies for a good distance. The enemies just keep marching on until the city is behind them. Out in the distance, the plain, there were streams of enemy infantries ripped for the picking as they had no idea that I was watching them from about 100 yards behind. They were taking shelter behind a ridge thinking that they are safe. I began to pick them off one by one. Most of them spin around in 360 searching like a lost puppy searching for its master. Once I kill 4 to 5 of them, I move to a new roof top to prevent being spotted. This result in a 15 total kills and a rally point destroyed before I ran out of ammo. This wouldn't be possible with the regular BF2. I love PR.

Seems like you had a terrific round. Care to share what map this was on so other readers can visualize what you said better?

The map was Ejod Desert with a full room of 64. The city is in the middle with one force from the north and one force from the south.

I was MEC using the rifleman optics kit. I ran out of ammo because e was pretty far away. Plus in PR even in prone and let the gun settle down, shooting is still challenging (like in real life). So I did miss alot.

After I ran out of ammo, I didnt feel like running back to base to rearm so I threw a some smoke grenades and go rambo with my knife...but that didnt work out too well.
