Great round guys, not normal that all squad leaders actually follow orders all the time.

Seemed to work too: 170 tickets ahead when the round ended.

Who was it in Squad 1, making those little birds do so well?

Fun.

Thanks!

Michael, if any SLs *don't* follow your orders, they're either insane or they don't know who you are. You're without a doubt the best commander I've had in PR, and it's always been consistent.

Was this on our Server? (Tactics & Teamwork)

Damnation was it your guys bombarding the hell out of my squad at the village?!? we we're constantly having to repair that bunker and AA gun :P

We had a NATO chap leading our team, he was rather good also :)

All I remember is being strafed to hell by 2 littlebirds and eventually having 3 APCs roll through my village :( best round of zatar in a long time

Yep that’s the server name, good teamwork players tonight on that server. Public rounds like that one are very rare. Not because we won, but because we played as a team.

It was the round were concentration was being used more than one time. If you were on the MEC side and being confronted by that type of concentration you will know what I am referring too.

Would that be that sorta concentration where we'd be checking our corners on our defensive flag at village... then the sound of rotor blades

And all of a sudden 2 littlebirds are pounding us from beyond the clouds and we have 2 (or was it 3???) apcs rolling into our village at once

Someone else summed it up very well in another thread lol...
Ledenko wrote:I played in a tacteam squad on zatar wetlands with Cain, Heskey and other peeps, defending the Village pretty much the whole round and I'll tell you, that was a blast.
Non-stop action with someone at your side, squeezing an IV of adrenaline into your bloodstream.
The USMC threw everything they had at us, APCs, infantry, little birds on continous missile runs, it was hell, but we stuck in there, thanks to Cain and his command, which went something like this:

"SHOVELS! I NEED SHOVELS!"
"Contacts at 30, 75, 140, 220, 300, 350, we're pretty much f-ing surrounded!"
"...I AM CALM, I AM CALM"

Thanks guys, you make an already great game even better :)
those attacks were intense, highly coordinated both air, armour and infantry coming from all sides and ALL I was concerned with was keeping that bunker and AA alive for our Forward line of attack

Hope to see you still commanding on our server dude :D makes the quality of games so much better with a good CO

Edit: anyone got more vids of this round? Particularly the village :D

Wow yes...thats the round i think, we used JDAM on the village, was SL 6 if i recall correct, holding out there for so long and finally retreating West after that JDAM.

If you took out an APC with that JDAM that is most probably the round.

IIRC It was me and someone of my sm's (can't remember who) who got the AT round up the arse there. I remember being pissed off for missing the fireworks :cussing:
