Preview:

What I want with this plan is to secure and defend the north side of the river. It is a symbolic place for defense as the river makes crossovers deadly. As a lake a river separates south from north, I'm putting my squads on the edge of the river to fully control and make sure no enemies manage to cross. My main tactic is to defend north. Crossing over isn't my priority as allot of danger is put to cross the river and to take control of South Bridge could lead to a big failure.
But if the commander sees opportunities there should be a Phase II, and I would have the SF squad to get in and take control of the east area, and let 1 infantry squad assist, and have the other squads using the bridge to cross covered by the APC.

Assignement:

(123) Infantry

Having this 3 infantry squads cooperating and defending the most crucial place where the enemy will focus most on. By the start of the battle one squad or a part of one squad will head for the temple to capture it, when that is accomplished they will return to North Bridge to join up with their squad again.
The commander have to focus on building up this area to supply it's squads fully up. A bunker have to get up just north of the defend post, also razor wires should get up around the area and crucially in north east of F3. Simultaneously there should get up sandbag walls, and one just at the entrance of the bridge.

(4) Mechanized Infantry

The Mechanized Infantry is to secure and E3, it's a great spot for camping the APC, and for the APC to get inrange of the enemies defend post at South Bridge to target it with HEAT Rounds and with it's 1x 7.62 Coaxial Gun. The APC gunner will also have complete view of the mountain and DE3. The rest of the crew is to assist the APC, the engineer and the AT Rifleman. They should also make sure that no enemies passes over the river to for taking down the APC. This squad is responsible for taking down any enemy vehicle as the enemies APC. If the enemie APC is spotted the squad is to take up the hunt and take down the enemies APC, using the gunner for it and the Rifleman AT.
The Mechanized Infantry should also fully free meanwhile go to assist the Infantries at North Bridge if needed.

(4) Motorized Infantry

This two man squad made of engineers operate with their Land Rover. They are to assist all squads of the platoon. If needed anywhere the commander has the option to call them in for support and know that he will get them on place fast. Their main task is to make sure that the road all the way from Farm to North Bridge is clear of enemies and mines. This is their main objective to patrol. They are also their for picking up soldiers and transporting them where requested. They are also the commanders assets and can be called in to assist to build and repair. It's suprise me that commanders and squad leaders fill up their command truck and go on a deadly path. Call in the Motorized Infantry and they can go ahead 30 meters ahead a commander truck and if enemies is spotted the commander truck will be saved.

(6) Special Forces

Not only the main bridge but also a hang bridge connects south and north over the river. The hang bridge is located east in F3 and is commonly used by troops for crossing the bridge. This is the main task for the Special Forces, they are to take control of that area, and secure so no enemies gets in east of North Bridge. This location is a very crucial point as it's preferably used by the enemies to cross. The marksman in the squad is responsible to take down any troops on the hang bridge. As he has the best distance and is the most noiseless member in the squad, he has the advantage to eliminate and not to expose the location of the rest of his squad. If more enemies position them selfs south of the river we have the Grenadiers and Automatic Rifleman that can engage.
If the commander wishes to advance for South Bridge, then he is to use the SF squad to cross the bridge, make sure any enemies, firebases and rallypoints are eliminated and the area is secured and covered before he can send in infantry to the location.

(7) Sniper

Placing the marksman between the snipers. This squad has great ability to spot and take out enemies even before they start crossing the river. The snipers should always be in a hidden location and never expose them selfs. Not to stay in the same location for a long time but proning and finding a new spot where the enemies haven't spotted them. The marksman in squad is also responsible for spotting enemies and giving enemies position, and also engaging in close combat if enemies have managed to cross. This squad should have a good contact with the commander and call in for reinforcement if needed. If any sniper kit is lost it should be picked up by the marksman, and also the squad should time to exactly know when the sniper kit can be requested again.

Nice

Thanks for this set-up.

Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.
