Operation Archer FTW

Post by Eddiereyes909 »

Recently i have been playing allot of Operation Archer, and i would like to thank the DEV who made it. It is honestly my new favorite map. I play it almost all the time with my Clan,[DM].

The reason why i love this map is because of the way that the squads must function.

Example: Last saturday, I had my squad in 2 Humvee's, we managed to get LAV support from the TF21 squad (thanks guys). We swept the map by the book, We would fallow the LAV to the new line of building and sweep. If the LAV took damage my guys would repair it. We manage to weep the entire IV quadrant of the map when the LAV was taken out by an IED, we manage to get away before the insurgents got to us. Once we got up to the top of a hill we were being chased by 2 technicle's and at least 15 insurgents.

Then the Intel came in. We were right by that marker and decided to head in with out any support. We managed to get in, but the engineers kept getting killed. Then i heard over the Com channel "Squad leaders JDAM is ready". Music to my ears. Under fire from almost every direction I lazed the Cache and the JDAM dropped killing 12 insurgents and destroying the cache.

After 20 minutes of more intense fighting we cleared the are and got emergency extract from a huey.

That was a great round.

Thanks to the TF21 guys for the support.

Yes i couldnt agree more, then again, from what i've seen they are attracted to A-10's and Insurgent factions...

Everytime I'm on, seems like no servers are playing this map. :(

Yea it looks neat though Ive only seen it briefly. I heard if you limit the players its ok, does the 32 player version work better or 16 or something!
