Today that all changed.
Usually the tactic is.. Move to west beach, move to east beach, move back to west beach, get all your vehicles blown up, move to east beach, get stuck in east beach, stay stuck outside of east beach, lose.
Today, that was changed.
I have to say it was the most entertaining round i ever had, and possibly the best squad i could ever lead (sadly i forgot all their names =( I have a terrible memory)
but anyways we started off weak. Capture east and west towers, fortified east tower, tried to go through the village to bridge, then to dam. Lost west tower, sat at east tower under heavy fire, moved to west tower. Infiltrated and captured it by ourselves under EXTREMELY heavy fire from a sniper, grenadiers, a wasteful AT guy, and that person who kept driving his Vodnic into our firebase with C4. We extracted to dam, went up and captured it, losing West Tower at the same time, so we were at a stalemate. We moved (by ourselves again) back to west tower as the rest of our team covered Dam. We met heavy resistance, eventually our rally point compromised. Get back to the Carrier, take 2 boats of 3 squads each, with an APC nearby west tower. Move way west, land, rush right up the beach again, and take west tower, under yet again, heavy fire, and 2 of our squad members took out their nearby bunker while the rest of our team took back bridge, heavily fortifying it in the process. We destroyed the rest of the 2 squads (about 9-11 people) and moved to bridge where we had a sip of tea and drove the hummer around randomly in the city distracting the mecs for the next 5 minutes so they couldn't react =)
Until the last 5 minutes, i believe that it was the best round ever on Jabal Al-burj.
