[List] Whats your Best Experiences on Jabal Al-Burj

Post by LithiumFox »

I have to say, i've never really truely had fun as USMC on Jabal Al-burj.

Today that all changed.

Usually the tactic is.. Move to west beach, move to east beach, move back to west beach, get all your vehicles blown up, move to east beach, get stuck in east beach, stay stuck outside of east beach, lose.

Today, that was changed.

I have to say it was the most entertaining round i ever had, and possibly the best squad i could ever lead (sadly i forgot all their names =( I have a terrible memory)

but anyways we started off weak. Capture east and west towers, fortified east tower, tried to go through the village to bridge, then to dam. Lost west tower, sat at east tower under heavy fire, moved to west tower. Infiltrated and captured it by ourselves under EXTREMELY heavy fire from a sniper, grenadiers, a wasteful AT guy, and that person who kept driving his Vodnic into our firebase with C4. We extracted to dam, went up and captured it, losing West Tower at the same time, so we were at a stalemate. We moved (by ourselves again) back to west tower as the rest of our team covered Dam. We met heavy resistance, eventually our rally point compromised. Get back to the Carrier, take 2 boats of 3 squads each, with an APC nearby west tower. Move way west, land, rush right up the beach again, and take west tower, under yet again, heavy fire, and 2 of our squad members took out their nearby bunker while the rest of our team took back bridge, heavily fortifying it in the process. We destroyed the rest of the 2 squads (about 9-11 people) and moved to bridge where we had a sip of tea and drove the hummer around randomly in the city distracting the mecs for the next 5 minutes so they couldn't react =)

Until the last 5 minutes, i believe that it was the best round ever on Jabal Al-burj.

Well Nice :) My best round on Jabal Al Burj was when i was squad leading i was usmc i had a bunch of awesome squad members we grabbed the boat and attacked east beach we had an apc backup but blew up when we came to the beach we came close 50m away from the beach i told my squad to spread out and run to the east beach wall we came closer we bailed out we ran and we had an enemy apc infront of us good that we had an engineer and a rifleman at well i told the squad to spread around east beach area so all we all rushed in from different places then i told rifleman at to take the shot he took it behind the apc and one shot it was down we cleared the area and trucks and humvees spawned. I built a bunker to east beach we had 2 snipers on the mountains we died several times because of them but we couldnt do anything else then spraying all of us jumped in a truck and went to the little village before bridge and i was checking that the usmc was close to cap bridge so i though about setting a rally there we went i was going to stop we heard an rpg bam of the back of the truck. The Truck started burning the guys behind died 3 of us bailed out and started running in the same time i ve set a rally point and the truck blew up our other 3 members spawned and we searched around for the rpg it came somewhere more north we gone to bridge we found the rpg guy on the road we took him out and attacked bridge we had lots of problems there because the guys were again on the mountains close to the bridge its really annoying this height advantage doesnt matter reality :) .We captured bridge we moved on the city we had lots of firefight and engaged couple of squads down at west city then tickets ran out and the game was over well one of my best rounds on pr and best round on jabal al burj :) 8-)

LOLOPS operation in the city, me (hat) and my sniper buddy got a lift to the city by huey. Huey left some supplies, and we allocated on the hotel roof. We destroyed every vodnik, apc coming by. We had acouple of patrols come by looking for us, but we just ran in the the pool and stayed low. They destroyed our supplies everytime, so that was annoying...but before we knew it, mec lost bridge and we hoped on west al burj (there was a bunker being built at east) and got that nutral. We saw some ******** coming in and hid on the chimney that is on top the cement factory. I then took out my hat and shot at the bunker being built and killed like 5 guys, and soon after i took out an apc that flanked all the way east of the city. We got quickly noticed, but just in time the rest of the usmc team came to the rescue. This was all 1 life :D

This round back in 0.6 I think.

A round which you rarely see, when the USMC actually gets somewhere into the land. :)

We had a squad of 1 pilot and a 2 man dedicated engineer squad, who repaired the helicopter, manned the door guns and built firebases.

Got close at one point when we were hit and blowing up, but due to a brave engineer frantically repairing in flight we made it back to the carrier, a second away from losing power. :)

Almost a perfect round. :)

Holy **** alex...

i wish they'd let us have more tickets for some rounds =D

I mean, it would allow us to actually get a counter attack going, or even better.. CAPTURE the CP's =D

nice... very very nice...

I used to think that too...

now once Muttrah comes out...

o.o i hope they have more than one map thats amazing..

cause everyone played Qinling until we killed it like radio killed evanescence... (though evanescence probably was never considered alive by some people) You get my point right?

It was in an early version of PR. We had all flags (we were MEC)
Some infidels had lost their boat at east, so our squad loaded up in it.
Rest of the team were having their daily prayers in Jabal city...

We headed off to the carrier, sailed around it, and entered in the back.
Somehow the infidels hadn't heard us coming in our jihad motor-boat,
there were no one at the bottom level. We went in and divided up at the stairs...
A squadmate took a peek, and the infidels were having a party on the deck..
We crawled up the stairs from both sides, and then we went utterly banana :2gunsfiri :firing:
The whole enemy team was there and they got completely durkad durkad.

Then the round ended :40_swig:

Once I was on the second floor on Dams bridge, looking to sea direction. And there it comes: whole enemy squad and I´m all alone. I took out my grenade launcher- small "plumps" 3 guys down, and second time again 3 guys :) They didnt learn the trick and same thing happened later again. Some minutes later I got kicked "to make room for supporting members"

Other time I was MEC commander, driving my support truck over the Dam bridge, one friendly car came from other direction, crashed into my support truck and PUSHED it over the edge, I survived but died later. The guy who did it was utterly ashamed, but I didnt even felt bad because it was so funny somehow

Last time I had interesting rounds on Jabal it was waay back in 0.6, now it's either USMC get pawned back to the sea and it ends up with a MEC fort at East Beach or USMC blows the bridge to MEC main and sits at the city flags waiting for MEC to bleed out.

*laughs* wow.. amazing stories..

i like the truck one XD sounds fun.

Keep going guys, more stories = more laughter from your friends, family, and the aliens who say they are "admins" here at PR.

=D We know who you are

Recent story:

We were in a heli.. moving in one west beach... made it through enemy fire, explosives, and it was just a barrage. We get to the moutains on the other side, the alarms going off, and an engineer on the inside trying to fix it...

then he hit the moutainside and we all died...

It wasn't funny at the time, but i watched it later... the MECs probably laughed at us and called us infidels....
