RESOLVED - AAS Supported maps?

Thanks for helping out with this Fritz.

In gerneal guys we should have things easier to set up with PRMM 0.3. By default it should work fine in AAS mode and the settings and configuration defaults should be set up for a good PR experience without server admins having to fiddle with anything.

AAS Issue seems to be fixed and players are joining again ;)

euhmmmmm Dalian Plant? Should that one work? because we just switched from Karkand to Daliant Plant.
Karkand worked fine but Dalian Plant suddenly again same problem?!
Restarted the server just to be sure.
I am downloading the PRMM mod again
Maybe reinstalling that would help

Gulf of Oman same problem and so on................

Last but not least I downloaded the complete mod again.
Although downloading it with a 100Mbit connection it downloaded with 100Kb/sec. I waited for the download to finish. Removed the old PR mod and reinstalled it again. Renamed the PY file and..............STILL SAME PROBLEM!
Since this is no advertisement for both my server and the PR mod I pulled my server offline!

Can I get some personal assistance with this problem?
The Forum is OK to post stuff, but people dont want to wait days for this slow chat to come up with a solution.

Weird, we haven't had any problems with AAS. I think on Karkand 1 there was a strange glitch, but thats all i can remember.

I received a file from eggman which I copied to the server.
Server is now running with that file!

Going connect to test it.

First map in the rotation is Gulf of Oman.
Directly after joining it says at the top left:
* AAS * Flags must be captured in correct order! * AAS *

After that...... Nothing!
No more AAS text and no flag can be captured!

OK well something is defintely awry here... the maps marked in red work fine with PRMM 0.254 and BF2 1.22 EXCEPT:
- Wake Island
- Gulf of Oman 32p is known to have some issues (we can't figure it out it seems to be an EA / Dice issue)

Have you edited the language support for AAS in any way?

Is it just that the AAS tips don't display (eg: the *AAS* next flag is flagname *AAS* messages)

OR

Can you actually not capture the flags?

What server version?

Are you running BF2CC or ModManager or anything else that could be related?

If you disable ABR does the problem persist?

While I understand your frustration and irritation, more information answering the exact questions being asked will help resolve the situation.

I dunno what's going on, but typically we've not seen these problems, so there is either a configuration issue, or a new bug we are not aware of.

SOLVED! After 5 days of troubleshooting!

Together with Satcom we've been working whole day to tackle this *****!
And we found the problem!

Working maplist:
mapList.append gulf_of_oman gpm_cq 32
mapList.append strike_at_karkand_2 gpm_cq 32
mapList.append daqing_oilfields gpm_cq 32

Not working maplist:
mapList.append Gulf_of_Oman gpm_cq 32
mapList.append Strike_at_Karkand_2 gpm_cq 32
mapList.append Daqing_oilfields gpm_cq 32

Did you see the difference?
Neither did we when we looked at them seperatly
Now copy pasting both first maps underneath eachother:
mapList.append gulf_of_oman gpm_cq 32 (working version)
mapList.append Gulf_of_Oman gpm_cq 32 (not working version)

Now you probably noticed the capital letter at the start of the mapname!
Some maps where in my maplist without a capital letter and those where the maps that worked!!!

Who would have guessed this was the cause!
1. This is a Windows server!
2. AAS start message was visible ingame!
