Nice video... I like the 3p and 1p views being mixed together. I loved the bombing from the frogfoot seeing the shadow pass by. :)

Some tips as you are new to the mod:

1. Be careful with your vehicle. You need it for transport, .50 cal support and specially ammo.

2. Kashan Desert is not for everyone and yes, it's slower depending on the situation. It greatly demands teamwork from separate squads.

3. Use Attack commands to indicate enemy positions. This will tell your squad members where to shoot or where they are, and also you can send more precise Contact Reports to the commander.

4. Talk more with your squad members about what's your plan so you pass more confidence that you know what you are doing. Deepsix needs to shut up and listen to the actual SL :p If he doesn't behave, just send him to me that I will have a word with him ;)

nice work, deepsix did a nice job.. but do go read the comms guide to keep your comms consistent, unambigious, and with sufficient brevity. Good calm command though.

I particuarly liked the comment about the game beeing slower than POE and 2142, and the fact that things get done when people work together.

VERY glad to hear that a new convert to PR is achieving good results, looks like the slower game now is better for new intake.

Personally i think the PR vets will have more to unlearn than those with tactical knowledge who nowerdays move to PR.

aaah! Finaly Silver comes over to PR. I saw your bf2142 video's when I still played that and learned a lot. Would be great to play with you someday :)

Im downloading .8 now ( I played .75 and .6 I believe ) so see you on the field! ( only play at T&T and TG )

EDIT:

Nice editing style indeed

Goddamn that was great! Can't wait to get on TG and play 0.8.

Anyone notice that the medic's 5 o'clock shadow becomes very defined when you're bleeding out?

thanks for all the advice and vid links
I am getting through the vids that have been done before to get a feel for what works on film

in this movie I wanted to do two things in particular
1) slick to the pace and feel of PR, and faithfully tell the story of what happened to the squad
2) interweave 1st person and 3rd person footage to give it a cinematic feel while giving the viewer a wider picture of the battlefield
a good first go at PR in terms of movie making

I had tried pr in previous releases but didnt really get it

This release has been better for me and I play regularly now

This was my second game in pr 0.8, the first game was where i was a squad member for superfast (who was in my squad in the film)

EDIT

of the fims I have watched so far, my favorite is by dbzao
