well, i was playing muttrah and gunning for an apc. i eventually ran out of armor piercing rounds, and i told my driver. he says we can rearm at the enemy base, but tells me not to shoot anything because the rules say, "no attacking MAINS until last flag."

so we got in, and the MEC in the base see us, and all try to hide behind walls and stuff, but i still see em. so i say in all chat, "WE COME IN PEACE!" and they all jump out and run up to the apc and touch the wheels and feel the tires like some uncivilized tribe of people seeing an automobile for the first time. and were all just hanging out, rearming, then we leave, not killing anyone or causing any trouble, and all the MEC guys wave goodbye to us.

Then the jerk admin acting like the bigot chiefton of the tribe decides to kick us for "entering the main." i go back in and try to explain that the rules specify, "no ATTACKING main," not, "no ENTERING main," and that we had no hostile intentions, but the admin says that im "gaffing him off" (whatever that means) and bans me.

funny story, but that jerk had to ruin it. anyone in there can vouche for me.

yeah, i was worried one of em was gonna whip out a HAT kit and destroy us. i guess they were too shocked seeing an enemy apc sitting in THEIR base, rearming off of THEIR command post to really do anything.

beside having that nice happening it could be a spearhead for justification of entering the main. this time it went good, but very often it wouldnt.
but anyway, a warning or maximum a kick would be fitting better than a ban.

I find it mildly amusing in a not very amusing way that all you players who slang off this admin clearly are not admins and have no understanding of being an admin. Open your eyes, grow up, try being a little more mature and understanding in your comments and get off your high horses.

Admins make mistakes, but they are there to try and make the gameplay better for all on the server. Try and comment with a little maturity.

P.S Being an admin is abit like being a football ref.. get nothing but shit with f all thanks.

Well I am assuming that it is the TG server you are talking about since it is the only server that have that rule (do not enter enemy main) and also what you said in another thread. On TG the rules are you are not allowed to enter the enemy main at all. TG Rules scroll down to rule 5 and you will see it.

Good story non the less, but if it was TG the admin was justified in doing what he did.

Lol, the Le Chuckle and I did the same thing on Muttrah, but with a humvee. Kept it alive for ages, me an engineer repairing it and chuckle a medic keeping me health and driving like a lunatic. We must have got about 50 kills out of that hummer, i died twice in the gunners seat and we both got toasted in the end by 3 vodniks that found us repairing in a corner.

When we reparming this MEC engineer looked around and just watched us for a bit, finally seemed to figure it out and started running to the flag to get a AT kit. We decided to leg it before things got nasty...

Kat - I don't think that we should assume it was TG; however, I am curious if it was.

And for everyone who is torching the admins: Perhaps you should try to admin a game like PR with the tools available. Just once. Perhaps you will sing a different tune.

nah, it wasnt the TG server, but i wont specify what server it was.

funny thing though: when the admin kicked me, he said something smartass like "maybe when you rejoin, you can read the rules," so i did read them. i come back in and say, yeah, i read your rules. they say "no ATTACKING main," not, "no ENTERING main" and some guy on the other team laughed his *** off. then i got banned. :/
