[AAR] black hawk down

Post by bigpimp83 »

i was playing on HOG server and the map was ramiel. as usual i grab the black hawk and try to convince some guys to gun with the mini guns. and i got exactly that. they type of flying i do is slow and low and kill every thing XD. i had a squad leader telling me where all the insurgents were and i would come in and provide some air support tear them to shreds you know. no insurgent was safe from my black hawk i stayed up for at least 15 min doing that taking rpg's and light arms fire. even took out a couple of technicals. i also swung by their bace and my gunners killed acouple of their guys and damaged their technicals pretty bad. finally i was doing a what was by now a routine run took heavy fire now i was only about 10-15 meeters off the ground and that's when i took an rpg my engine stated to give out so i tried to do a controlled crash but nothing to that effect my nose slammed into a building and blew up. at the end on of my gunners flack jacked or something similar to that name got 10 kills not to mention some other guys that were with me. so next time you see bigrussianbear flying dont be afraid to gun for me on ramiel.

I was in a squad(US) on that map just South of one of the weapon caches in the Northwest corner of the map, the cache located in the building w/ all the arches. It was fun watching you tear it up, only problem I had was when me and my squad leader moved on the cache from the south, one of your gunners lit us up and killed me. Other than that, nice work, it was a nice battle over that cache.

I remember I had a round on this map, I had just dropped a squad off in the northern slums in the littlebird and was on my way back to base, I suddenly felt an RPG slam into my tail, the Littlebird lost power and I was lucky enough to steer it away from a looming building. I ditched the chopper in the middle of a road and bailed.

I then got extraction with a Stryker back to the airfield and got the other little bird. Whilst flying over the city about 10-15 mins later I was astounded to see the downed littlebird sitting there waiting for a nice engineer to give it some repairs. So I got someone to hop in with me, dropped them next to the downed littlebird and gave them some air cover as they fixed it and flew it back to main.

It was a great round that one and I was helping the BlackHawk by flying in and suppressing the enemy and taking out their Technicals before the Blackhawk comes in a drops off troops.

Great fun.

I don't think that's really possible in PR, but it would be awesome.
