[AAR] Sniper team making use of A-10

Me and a friend made a sniper squad, me spotter and him sniper. We took a chopper lift to the mountains north east of south village. There we went around for a while stopping often to spot for enemies (spotted a chopper once or twice). We went north and came to the big mountain top in the centre of the map where we spotted an enemy base perhaps 200m north of the it. The base consisted of a FB, approximately 10 inf guys and a BPM (or is it BMP?). They were pressing real hard on north village and this base really gave them a push.

So what we did was telling another buddy (on ventrilo) who was in the A-10 about the enemy base. I told the sniper to just stay put for a few moments, lazed the vehicle which a few seconds later got blown up by the air plane. Then my sniper buddy started firing at the infantry people who had come to panic. Shortly after the A-10 returned and dropped a bomb on the FB which I had lazed as well. Then to just finish it of it went back and forth twice and fired with the main gun. The sniper finished the last people of and then we disappeared as fast as we had gotten there. The whole thing didn't take more than 3 minutes.

This shows what potential a sniper team can have, sometimes it can really make a difference. It was a thrill, I tell ye!

that's cool. it's sometimes hard for the a-10 pilots to make sense of all the lasing.

That's because they join infantry squads just so they can grab a kit (which has no real use in it).

Ontopic: The whole lasing for CAS is one of my favourite things to do in the game. It is unfortunate that few people are actually any good at both bombing and listening to ground forces requesting CAS.

A pilot could say the same thing just turned round , for example ; I thinks its unfortunate that few people actually laser for CAS.

had the same thing yesterday on Muttrah. I Sniper, my m8 spotter and alex and his m8 in the cobra...

Wasnt fun for the mec side that i can tell you!

I love guys up in the air who listen to ground troops. I took out the aa an manpad guys, they search for a sniper and dont really know that rocket is on way right now

There base ended up 3 min after build in a big fireball
