We actually plan on this. It would make sense as well since we can't have its role be primarily "troop transport" since we can't have more than eight players in a vehicle. You can definitely expect it to be a transport and logistics specialization vehicle.FuzzySquirrel =US= wrote: Can the Chinook please have two supply crates?

Maybe they found a way around it?Waaah_Wah wrote:What is the point of having the Chinnok in-game? AFAIK, you cant have more than 8 people in a vehicle anyway.
To that end, we can't wait to see this flying around on [R-DEV]Dr Rank's 'Sangin' in the not too distance future.
8 People in one vehicle is the limit with the BF2 engine.BigHope wrote:

Can you tell me if the Chinook will be able to transport like, 2 whole squads at a time ? 'cose it seems to have a bunch of seats available.
And it would be really really awesome to land or evac with at least 12 people inside. This is what a would call a damn transport for sure
Faithfully yours,

EDIT: I forgot to ask... When exiting the Chinook, is it proposed to have the player 'spawn' inside (like a couple of the seats of the Merlin do), outside or a mixture? (excluding the pilot of course.)
