both look amazing
i hope that put two suppy crates in is there any way u can get around the 8 person limit by like just lowering the ramp and every one just piles in.

Nope, when the helo starts moving quickly it kills everyone not seated and gives the pilot a mass teamkill[typically booting him as well, causing EVERYONE inside to die in the crashdyson20 wrote:both look amazing

Yeah, for some reason, the BF2 engine doesn't calculate the traction and inertia of infantrymen properly when they're simply on top of a vehicle, and not firmly glued in a "seat". Otherwise, that wouldn't be a problem, and we could have had awesome tactics on pub games using the Warhammer 40k ORK special rule (you may fit as many Orks into a War Wagon as you can stack on, but any that fall off are removed as casualties).

ok, seeing how what i said was already said bay waaa...
What about trying to get a small box to spawn inside of the chinook... one that doesn't have a collision mesh on infantry, but does have a collision mesh on vehicles. so what happens is that the chinook and the "box" spawn at the same time. The box is held in place by a small collision box in the chinook. as the chinook flys, so does the box. then when destroyed, it just spawns in the chinook again... =/
i could see it as buggy, but it could be a work around...
hell you might even be able to hide the box in the bottom of the chinook... and then turn off damage meshes on the box, then maybe if you could try and get the players to sit above it in the chinook... =/

The Chinook can't seat more than 8 people. It's been hardcoded, and impossible to make more than 8 persons in a any sort of BF2 aircraft, vehicle, or vessle.
So hopefully others don't ask

Ya and if they were to make it more than 8 people they would have to make a whole new bf2 engine and that would be hell.

In the Unites States Army on the chinook they have a grenade launcher on the right hand side window.they also have a 50 cal on the rape witch is also in the real chinook. But the thing that am curious about is if you guys are going to put the chinook with Americans because they are made up in Phillidelphia PA and i have alot of respect for the chinook. And what maps would u put he chinook on? :
