Sorry guys I said I would have some stuff up, but other PR related things came up for .85. Just as important. I'll have some free time soon and then you should see an excelerated work going on.

Will we see some new screens/news about this map?I am waiting with anticipation :D Seems like it might become one of my favorite maps ;)

Yeah I scrapped a bunch of things and replaced a bunch of things. I know I promised screen shots but 0.85 patch has taken priority recently. Next week I will have two weeks off and hopefully will get some new ones out. The good news is after some tweaking I've been able to bring the terrain issues down to a minimum. And also have been able to collect a few dozen real life images of the area. Its allot greener then i thought :-P

sounds great!
The good news is after some tweaking I've been able to bring the terrain issues down to a minimum.
smoothing? statics? a mix of both?
or something completely new??

so i hope it works out looks like a great map to play especially on the US with a-10s and Apaches vs insurgents lol.

All WIP, still working with what trees and other things I might need to change. So just enjoy :-P

Also the A-10 is used by a few forces, these forces have yet to be decided. Map completion less then 40%, as you can see form the pics the other side of isn't complete. Its allot of detail to fill 4km.
