Some helicopters can do loops and barrel rolls etc. They have rigid frames (I think that's the terminology used..)

Go on youtube and search Red Bull helicopter backflip. It's awesome seeing it in real life I have to say, but if I was in that chopper I'd be scared out of my mind haha

I saw a video on tv involving that helicopter, and the pilot explained why that heli could do it, and not your average civilian helicopter. The redbull helicopter and the Apache are equipped with blades much more rigid than your average helicopter.
