[AAR] .:iGi:. Server February 24th around 11PM Central Euro Time

Post by Scandicci »

Played in a great round last night on the IGI server (if my memory serves me correctly). The map was Fools Road and I was Russian. I started off as SM in a two man APC TRANS squad. We stuffed our bras and put on our stilletos and went to work. I was gunning and we took Frosty McOwnage's squad to Hilltop 155 at which point I started to suffer from incredibly debilitating 'APC' lag. One BDRM later and I was bailing from a flaming wreck and taking small arms fire in the back. The SL dumped to desk top and I was promoted. Skaylay and I drove a truck north to squad 4 to drop crates and build a firebase. We had the Chechens pushed all the way back to their main. The armor respawned and the fight moved back to Hilltop 155 in a pitched battle. Our six strong infantry squad worked the area for the rest of the round and took down an enemy firebase. 155 changed hands a few times and the siren of death went off. Our squad kept our heads down in an attempt to stay alive and conserve tickets. Final count: Ruskies 2, Chechens 0. Great round - great fun. Kudos to Germantoast for great teamplay.

Welshy. I was gonna give you some lines but could not remember your name for the life of me. You did a great job stepping in as commander, probably got us the win.

i was playing in Ruskies in that round with 2 sq of GCA :)
i remember that Scandicci lost 1 BRDM-Tow(splan....??) on our bridge :) killed by t-55?
and that there were only guys from IGI,WNP(Lp also?) and <Rangers_PL> in Chechens :)
(no more than 3-4 pubs without clan!!!)
very hard and good game !!!

that very strange that in 0.85 it's almost the festival when Ruskies wins Fools Road :)

You are right. We headed out in search of armour to blow up and we lost. That was right before we became an infantry squad. Great round. It shows that the horn of death is not necessarily the end.
