i hunt with radar on until i find a target then i close radar to not reveal i am tracking them, when in good range and good angle (pref when they on final approach on attack run) then lock missiles and fire.

If i'm in Tornado in a pub game then i don't hunt, cause lol thats not its role. Just leave the Euro to do it for me, or if hes incapable do it myself. Usually i attack from underneath if its safe enough, or i just lock and fire as quick as possible (snapshot) so their flares are ineffective...

If he is relatively close behind you, you can try putting zero throttle while doing turns and dropping flares madly, so that you can lose speed rapidly and he overshoots you. You can then rearm flares, or go ahead and try to get a shot off him. This is the worst problem I have when I'm in an MIG-29, trailing and A10. Of course, if the enemy is far away, this tactic won't work, as the missile will have more time to maneuver and he will be able to line up a gun shot better. REMEMBER to turn while you put little throttle so he can't hit you with the gun.

I'll tell you a few things
-Fly between 13 and 1600 speed, not at them - enemy jets will, on full throttle (which most pilots are on), be either too slow or too fast

-Buck fever is good - if you don't get him, he will get you.
