Btw can someone model that hook on top of the Fennek, so we can add it as child object, for those who dont know what it is, its a hook that catches steel cables fixed on a certain height on the road to injure or kill vehicle crewman .

The Fennek currently has a "radar" installed on it. I've only tried single player, but I guess it detects enemy units? How's that in real life, does it detect stuff like the BF2 radar? If not, it should be taken off for PR.

I think it should be taken out since PR doesnt use infantry and vehicle radar, let the IR mast be used like a IR camera with a good zoom nothing more nothing less.

I think the radar should just simulate the many cameras this scoutcar have.

That´s no my own decision. We will not create a full OPK based PR minimod.
It´s really sad taht the BF2-Radar cannot differentiate between vehciels and persons... Something that was possible in BF42/V.
IR-Cams are not really possible in BF2. You can create some, but on a totally different way.

By Ir cam i mean the black and white zoomable camera allready available to various vehicles that are allready ingame, but becuase this vehicle specialty is scouting perhaps give it an even more extended range?

The roof-parts (sensor thing) should be given a dark color (which it is?), but no, there are no different versions for it. But perhaps it's just a matter of adding "_woodland" to its name. At least that's what I did to the Fennek "rumph" (main skin), which works fine in the editor. Haven't tried that in-game yet, would have to find out.
Just give the crows a nice dark green colour then.

But it should have an edge as a scout vehicle.
Like making the cameraboom extendable, or maybe givving it thermal vision... i know lots of work. But that would have me baricade my door and playing non-stop for 3 years!!!1 looolz

Thermal vision cant be done, its hardcoded, it wil get a very good zoom and a CROWS .50 though, its fast and has a low profile.
