Yea im the mod leader for that team. I began work on ETW ages ago, the first game I ever tried modding was RTW and got a bit hooked on modding the TW games. I just find them an awesome platform!
I decided, as I also play PR ALOT! that I would like to contribute some of my time towards it. Also as I know ETW will be a challenge to mod, I wanted to make sure my models were used somewhere, just incase my mod does fall through, so what better place than my all time fravorite mod, PR.
Dont worry the entire model is created by myself from scratch. What you can see in that image is all mine, apart from the PRR and texture for the straps on the helmet, which I will change in due time. Tonnies kits havent been used yet, as I am still going through the process of texturing them.
EDIT: Oh plus I am currently working on an American Soldier model and German Soldier Model, which I hope may also be used by this mod also. That is if the team wish to use them.

You wouldn't happen to be planning to put some non-white models in as well?
The British (US as well I'm sure) army is multicultural, and I would love it if PR could reflect that
White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Indian etc.

oh yea I will be creating a few different skin variations, the one you see there is just acting as a place holder for the moment, which the rest will soon follow off.
I know the US has many different races within the military, and that should be, like you say, be portrayed when it comes to these models.

To aid you Squaddie here's a demographic of the racial background of the US Army:
Looking for one for the Brits but as of yet can't find one...

75 percent are whites, i think the US riflemen basic kit should be a white guy since hes the most numerous role in the infantry, would be more realistic.

sorry but can we please all stop this stupic racial discussion? i mean serious it does not matter which class is black or white or asian looking, thats just plain stupid
Besides that, the models are great, and modeling humans is really the hardest thing you can do

Haha knew you would like it. I have spent alot more time on it today. I have created some better looking pouches for him along with finishing off the texture.
@Wilson- I will get round to doing the bump maps later on. I havent began work on the leg textures as of yet, but will be getting round to them once the top half is complete.
Cheers

Hah, why not throw a Kukri weapon in there too?
Would be cool, But i think Gerkahs operate in their own regiments? After summin like 5 years, I beleive that they can be transfered to other parts of the British Army.
I wouldnt expect them to be in ample appearence tho. Ask a serving/ex Army member I guess.
...mongol...

The French Submod team has made a kukri iirc, and some gurkhas gotta be able to survive 5 years....
it'd be nice to have em along, just for the fun. dont you think?

I think they do rotations with different brigades every 5 years.
British Officers do work IN the Gurkha regiments, but not sure about Gurkhas out of Gurkha regiments, after all, the mission statement for the Gurkhas is:
"To serve as an integral part of the British Army whilst retaining its Nepalese identity and culture, and adhering to the terms and conditions of Gurkha service".
But yeah a 16'' Kurki would be great ingame.
