Here's a coding question: Would it be at all possible for the UAV to be given a collision mesh so that it could be shot down?

Or does this re-introduce the problem of having the commander killed in the process as he is the one actually piloting thevehicle which has been destroyed (it's no longer a projectile)?


I suppose the only workaround would have the vehicle somehow ejecting the player after reaching so little HP, which of course introduces the next problem which is to say that has never been coded or thought possible with BF2's engine :p

im still curious to how this version works...? is it still a projectile? or will the commander die if the uav hits a mountain?

i usualy go commander in TG as it is the only server where you have to follow the commanders orders

Sweet! This will hopefully get more people to command at any given time, which should makes games more fun. Commander leads to more team unity.
