Talking of Eryx, I once heard / read that it has maximum range of 800 meters. After that it becomes uncontrollable. So is that true? Because yesterday I was able to kill an APC around 900m away from me with the Eryx.

The maximum range is actually 600m, after that you can no longer guide it and it tumbles uncontrolled. That does not mean it is impossible to kill stuff beyond that, but very unlikelyJacksonez__ wrote:Talking of Eryx, I once heard / read that it has maximum range of 800 meters. What's the future of PR?
With the gamespy shutdown we're not getting any new players to replace players that have left.
The engine is so old it's an antique. I'm amazed how much you've been able to squeeze out of it so far.
Communities/Servers feel like their closing rank, only allowing certain players favored by the admins to be in CAS, Tank, Etc.
All in All, I love PR and still play it; but I feel like it's slowly dying.

Is there a question in there? We continue to develop and fix PR for many more releases to come. As long as you see developers and players, PR has a future.
And PR is still getting tons of new players from what I can tell. Perhaps even more so given BF2 is much more open now to pirated online gaming.

The bushmaster is already completed AFAIK, is there a high possibility we will see it in game? Would love to drive it. Maybe it could be used by the Brits? Wiki intel says 24 are in use in the british army

Apparently it was purchased for the SAS, so no it won't be seen ingame for the British forces.mries wrote:The bushmaster is already completed AFAIK, is there a high possibility we will see it in game? I read somewhere that the french faction has an amx-10p. Is someone confused or is there actually a amx-10p model somewhere and if so, why isn't it being used on either marlin or xiangshan?

We do not have the AMX-10p, otherwise we would use it. Probably meant the AMX-10rc.camo_jnr_jnr wrote:I read somewhere that the french faction has an amx-10p. Is someone confused or is there actually a amx-10p model somewhere and if so, why isn't it being used on either marlin or xiangshan?

Why is there a space in [R-DEV] melonmuncher's name between the DEV tag and the actual name?

Fair enough, but with the sale of some CV90's to Estonia one mechanized battalion is being transformed to a motorized battelion (with Bushmasters).[R-DEV]Rudd wrote:because it has yet to be deployed to a woodland theatre afaik, the idea was to use it on an afghan map
