So just a spawn point?[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:If it's featured, it'll be used as self-flying paradrop plane. It's not a full-on plane, it has no cockpit or moving parts or even a wreck model.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
what if maaaaaybe it could be both and maaaaaybe it could be shot down by german 88's ?
(like a c47 that flies around nearly out of view distance, allies can paradrop on it but germans can shoot it down too eleminating it?)
just kind of thinking
though it would only (realistically)work on a map(engagement in RL) where the allies constantly were reinforcing their troops on the frontline, otherwise it would only do a fly-over near the beginning of the round at which point it would be similar to dovre
but im just speculating

When the c47 was introduced in PR:N it was a plane that auto-flew by, acted as a spawnpoint into a vehicle that you could then jump out of, and could also be destroyed. So theoretically, yes to everything ^^QuickLoad wrote:what if maaaaaybe it could be both and maaaaaybe it could be shot down by german 88's ?

PPSh didn't bother me so much as SVT-40 or Wz. 38 (in game called Karabin, because their research didn't found A PROPER NAME OF DAMN WEAPON!). But yeah, in CoD:WW2 it's looks like they had more PPSh, SVT-40 and Waffles than MP-40 or even Kar98 rifles. Heck, Gewehrs are the rarest guns in campaign.
But I don't think it's proper place to talking about Cringe of Duty.

I dont know man, its willing to go so far as to talk about the germans who invaded london with thompsons in pvp, and also black female german troops. Something you NEVER hear about in history class! Single player campaign in that game did not evolve at all since CoD 1.Rabbit wrote:How many of you are playing cod ww2, its soooooooo gud.
First mission: you move towards the enemy chilling out casually chatting with friends, then one of nearby guy gets shot, everybody starts screaming, shit blows up, a mandatory uncontrollable sequence showing more shit exploding and that distant concussion effect from private ryan. You run to your marker, get hit by 10 bullets, crouch behind some cover and heal up. Keep moving, kill 20 enemies on your way to marker, blow some shit up, then you get a mild relief.
I swear every fucking WW2 shooter starts like this.
And then people complain how the game is unrealistic because you can load a scoped K98k from a fucking clip :------DD

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Oh wow a Dodge WC! Looking nice man!
I am going to try my hand at setting up a new version of the Half-Track that IDF mod has been revamping. We will be able to use it in both PR:WW2 and BFKorea mods. It has more details, and a much higher resolution texture, so it will need to be retextured by somebody who knows what they are doing.
I know this updated texture was shown off on the WW2 facebook page, but I don't know that it would work on this newer updated version. I think not as much of the clutter on the truck has been removed such as the 2x4 board amongst other things and little details here and there.
As you can see in the updated IDF mods version above, it has a passenger operated m1919 .30 cal poking out of the window, so it will be pretty nice!
