Actually there are destructible razorwires in game. F.e on Ulyanovsk there are razorwires put one above another. These can be killed with big C4.
I'm not into developing, but bangalore is just a pipe and shouldn't be difficult to make.

The pipe itself wouldn't be hard to model indeed, however, getting a set of animations for it definitely is.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Yeah getting animators is one of the hardest things for the BF2 modding community at the moment sadly. Luckily a year ago I got somebody to get the guy who worked on many PR weapons named Develop013 to promise he would animate some weapons for me. I should have a brand new PPSH-41 model for PR soon, as well as that new BAR we exported a while back, granted you guys want it. If people don't like the texture it can easily be changed. I just think it looks better than the old BAR model we created back in 2006 that you guys use now. It needs an update lol.
If somebody here can offer to do some texture work for that Half-Track and BAR if they like it, they can be used in PR easily. The Half-Track is going to be worked on very soon. Develop is working on fixing the deploy animation for our BAR, and the reload of the PPS43 needs to be redone by him. I will pass our new weapons pack over to AfterDune hopefully after this weekend to take a look at all the new goodies that would benefit you guys.
Hell, you guys already have basically all you need for an Ostfront theater. I also had our Arisaka t99 fully animated too, in case you guys ever get that itch to work on Pacific...
It will have rifle grenades smoke and AT as well as bayonet. Maybe you guys could use it in the middle east maps for now?

Razorwires all across the beach being destroyable is a heavy tax on networkables, something we have been avoiding for years.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Thanks! That was one of the last weapons our original mod creator modeled and textured for us before BFK was abandoned in 2009. It took all this time to get properly animated sadly.
Well hopefully we can get some more stuff to share to benefit both communities very soon. I do have a Taisho 11 LMG as well that could be used for a possible Imperial Japanese Army. Animations are ok but the reload time needed to be slowed down a lot, so the reload sounds also needs to be adjusted but you can see it in action here.

Go to 7:13 mark in the video to see the gun. You can watch the whole thing to see a lot of our updated stuff, but many of it will be outdated as we are getting a new weapons pack from the animator next week.
Some of that stuff wasn't meant to be shown off in the unfinished state when we did our last BFK news update, but hey it's all good you get to see what all content we have been working on. Also that stuff is on lowest details as the guy who recorded it for us had a very old low spec laptop.
Also if there is anything else in there you devs want let me know. We do have a lot of the PR stuff you said we could use in there so other than stuff you already have let us know.

@Anthony817. It is really good. but I don"t get why you don't want to work on PRWW2 exclusively!? I know you like PRK but PRWW2 is more appealing than PRK. believe me. your works are really good and you have diligence and it is obvious and I think if you and your team were more interesting in PRWW2 and joined to PRWW2 developing project we could have already a great and massive PRWW2. prww2 can bring a refreshness to PR community easily and quickly.
think about it.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Well right now I want to work on Battlefield: Korea, and make it the best it can possibly be so that if I choose to work on an addon for PR, we have everything readily available and in the end it will be much less work to try and find people, to make or export models for us.
So for right now my focus is on BFK, but I also love PR:WW2, so I have no problem sharing our assets with them not least of which because they have been instrumental in getting our weapon models animated in the early days. Plus we are both members of Black Sand Studios, along with EOD, BGF and IDF mod, so that is why we are trying to work closely with each other and share great content that benefits each other.
Also, I wanted to get a stand alone mod out first and get it right because nobody else makes a Korean War FPS game in history, which I think is incredibly sad. I want Korean War FPS games to be a thing in the future, so I feel like my efforts will show DICE, EA and other companies how it could be done, and that there are people who want and will play a combined arms FPS game based on the war.
But I don't want to take thread too off topic. In short, I just like to share content with these guys and help get their content higher quality if possible.
Edit: Also, my grandfather died on my birthday in 2012. He fought in the Korean War, so this is why I want to make this mod. So it is kind of personal for me.
Sorry if I didn't say it sooner, but I just wanted to let you know why it means so much to me.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
We've recently had an increase in issues, because our testers went through all weapons and made issues of everything they thought was wrong with them (******** ). These issues are mostly about animations not being correct. But, our very own [R-CON]w0lf3k is working his *** off, fixing both 1P and 3P animations.
Next to that, the new Sherman and Tiger tanks are being coded. When that's done, those tanks need proper LODs and such. And the textures could use some love as well.
And next to that, we're going through some newer maps, to fix floaters and what not. But I don't know if those maps will be ready for release, time will tell.
So that's pretty much it.
Well, not yet: I'll show you guys some goodies soon .

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Well, I kind of have some for their new Half-Track. I am thinking of posting in the community addons area looking for somebody to do a better job with the textures, because the underlying texture is 2K, and when we add stuff to it after the fact it isn't looking as good for us. So I will need to see if the community here can help us both out, but now I think our mod's Half-Track rivals FH2's. This was all the work of Spyker over at IDF mod doing the model and textures, with a little help on textures from myself and General_Bradly. Brad also did the coding of everything.
As you can see here the texture needs more love than this, which is only placeholder. I have the Photoshop .psd file I can give a talented community texture artist here to give it proper symbols and the love it deserves, but we just did these for reference.
Now the window can be closed up with the protective armor to protect the driver.
Interior also has had a lot of work done to it as well.
And last but not least you can see another shot of the Anti-Aircraft M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage variant beside it too. I still think maybe that Quad 50 might need some work eventually too, as it comes from EOD2 mod, but you see we have a version for dealing with pesky Aircrafts for you now too when you get planes added.

Re: Ask the (WW2-DEVS) a question ?
Hello PR WW2 Lovers ... First of all i wanna thank all the designers and the programmers that made PR the greatest multiplayer game ever! i've been watching this forum from a very long time ... And i was in love with the WW2 version because it just brings me into some sweet memories when i used to play with some great friends !
anyway i'm a 3D designer and i have some experience with Animation too ... if you need help with 3D models or animation please contact me ... i made this beta version of a T-34 Soviet WW2 tank i thought maybe one day developers might add the soviet army so i made this one quickly based on a realistic blueprint !
i still don't know what are the basics of PR models ! ( i mean like the maximum number of faces and the texture maps dimensions ... etc ) but i think with some search here in the forums i might figure it out.
anyway here are some pictures of the T-34 ! it still not done yet ... but i will fix few things after i get an idea about how PR models should be to make sure it will work smoothly in the game ! if you like the model i can finish it and give it to developers ... and make more !
This is the real one !
