The flak 88 was in the open beta on carentan (probably spelled that wrong) as a at gun it had ap,at,and flak rounds i am sure some gameplay of it is floating around somewhere of both of the german aa weapons.PBAsydney wrote:And the ability to load PzGr shells, yes?

What kind of gun harmonisation/convergence pattern are the fighter planes going to have?
And again, what is the top speed for the planes going to be, is it going to be authentic?
Are all of the tanks going to have their proper sight reticles?

Well problem is that bf2 engine was made for jet airplanes,not for propeler ones. Planes in bf2 are pushed trough air only by force of jet engine so that doesnt apply very well for ww2 airplanes.
My question: How will airplanes be coded? I know rpoxo know this stuff about air vehicles coding really good so maybe he could pull out something here?
At FH2 airplanes handling isnt very realistic imho.

Hello,
please excuse my impatience, but the feature I was most looking forward to in 1.5 was WW2. Yet in the currently released changelog there is not a single mention about that. Did I miss any info about that? Is it still going to be a thing? In later update?

vWW2 was worked on while v1.5 was being made. The decision was made to put focus to Polish Forces first as those were further ahead, that doesn't mean vWW2 is cancelled or necessarily delayed. And it's definitely now the main thing on our radar for the next major release.

And how far off would you say you are for a release? Whats missing? Last we tested ww2 i think most people didnt care about many oftimes the issues.

What the playerbase thinks is a good release isn't our concern really. We make the game we want to make. It was called a beta for a reason, there were smaller and bigger issues. The passage of time makes everything seem better as usual. We don't create bug reports just for the fun of it
Most weapon animation work is behind us, probably some left to find. But that was a major stepping stone. Now the team will likely look more at maps and vehicles. As QA was busy with v1.5 and mostly focused on weapons so far for vWW2.
As for timing, I'd say should be 2018. But that's based on my own work mostly for vWW2 I can't say for everyone on the team what their motivation, time and possible hurdles during the year will be. But should be possible. Depends on our focus as well. But atm we are mostly looking at fixing up v1.5 First patch tomorrow!

The factions have been updated for COOP to work but the maps would need to be updated with the new layer, navmeshing etc for it to really be used.
In short, it'll take time for our mappers, but hopefully will be ready by release otherwise it'll be in a patch

Will the tanks still have a seperate position just for controlling the hull MG? I always thought it would be cool if the driver did that.

How i wish tank commander has it's own seat rather than the driver having the Commander View(Driver/Gunner/Tank Co./MG)

The driver already has enough on his mind watching out for at and tanks plus listening to his gunner so a separate position is perfect in my opinion plus it isn't realistic to have the driver controlling the hull mg.sweedensniiperr wrote:Will the tanks still have a seperate position just for controlling the hull MG? But its only a position that does one thing, and not so good. The commanders hatch mg at least can rotate a whole lote more. And if the layout will be same as regular pr thats still 3 spots. And the 3rd spot is hardly used in regular pr. Should tanks crews in ww2 have 4 people? What about maps with multiple tanks? 3 tanks? 12 crewmen? Please...

1. PR is about teamplay.
2. It is impossible to turn off engine being in driver seat. Getting out of tank isn't safe as change seat.
3. In that logic techie with MG in passenger seat also should be changed, which is dumb. Imagine driving and shooting.
4. Driver role isn't only driving. He need watching for potential threats. To eliminate them leave it to other crew members.

2. as you can in turret MG
3. techies are used for transport as well as firepower. It's also squishy. You wouldn't say a techie is comparable to a tank would you? Compare it instead to PR tanks. Which I did.

You sounds like you played only as an infantry.

i Know PR will come out when it will be ready I know fixing bugs and stuff are not easy and that takes too much time and i Know that the DEVS are working hard ...ect (thanks for all devs who are working right now ) But C'mon each one of PR community want to Play PR ww2 and im one of them im excited as fuck it was like a dream for me ... the latest status update has been one year from Now and Nothing New i mean at least make PR community Know each progress happening in PR WW2 i mean let us Know what Devs are working on and what are they doing To reassure our hearts thats we want at least (sorry for my bad english) and finally thanks to all the devs and good luck for them <3 <3
