:O reminds me. Last I played Al Basrah I got issues with the British Logi Truck on Al Basrah in the Driver seat. Cage keeps flashing, appearing and disappearing which causes major lag, but passenger seat is perfectly fine and cage shows fine + no lag.
A little bit off topic, so....
Any Devs visited New Zealand/have plans to?

Where do you get this fact from that it's unplayable for alot of people?
The file verification is needed cause of the updater and the fact that bf2 public servers need you to have the same files cause otherwise you won't be able to play anyway.

What has caused such a big change in system stress? In .98 I could play pr comfortably on all maxed settings. Now for 1.0 I've had to bring my settings down to all minimum, and even still my system struggles with bad fps lag on certain maps. I wasn't expecting such a drastic change in system stress(at least not this extreme). I realize there's been a lot of new textures and effects added, as well as an increase in total players on a map, but It's still surprised me how much my pc has been pounded.....is 1.0 just poorly optimized right now?

Why there aren't thermalsights in BMP-2M?
There's various sites that say the upgrade package includes: AG-30 grenade launcher, 2+2 launchers for ATGM 9M133 "Kornet" and new day/night sights

Well I wanted to know why not. It has to have been thought of before and shouldn't be hard to make. If I made a suggestion thread that didn't get approved because it got shot down in the design process, I wouldn't have an answer as to why.

Except neither force were ever in Sangin. Wrong continent for ARF all together but yeah i can see how it would be cool if you could bend the rules a little.

Well, I can't go into details yet, but I thought I'd let you guys know I'm now able to get back to work on Sangin. There's still a lot to do; for a start I need to put down around 80-100 clusters of compounds to finish of the bulk of the statics work on the map, but major progress is now being made... I'll post another blog when I've got something more to show. Keep an eye out for other dev blogs that come out too...

That does sound really good!

there was that one like .. Half finished Sangin on CO OP before ... It was kind of Plain and simple i dont believe that was the actual map though ... Still exciting
