If your not signalling, why do people use coloured smoke then?

If you read through the thread you would see that its not and you would also see that it makes perfect sense. The way they presented it doesnt show that but it does.

Default smoke grenades are still grey/white. It's just officer and pilot smoke grenades that are colorful.

I highly suggest giving WHITE to Insurgent SL's as they're basically a under equipped faction and aren't going to exactly be making high tactical value manuvers with smoke color designations.

Insurgent smoke should be black because they will be burning tires

When I used to be in the army (ACR - Czech Rep.), we used coloured smokes / flares a lot. More colours = more signals, basically the more the better. The only problem is when you have similar colours and people are not sure if it's yellow or orange for example. But according to what devs said so far, there's no reason to believe it's going to be a mess. So thumbs up from me

nah just kidding, Id keep it like the smokes are now (.75), the exciting thing about smoke is that everyone uses the same so u sometimes cant tell whos smoke it is.

My impression is this is signal smoke only available to officers and such so the normal smoke will still be similar?
