he's allowed to give his opinion zeno, he clearly doesn't have a DEV tag, so its rather obvious that he's not gonna decided for teh DEV team.....

javelin, m82 these arguments go and come.

Can we please end this for now, there is no point in having this discussion at this point

Both the HK417 and the M82 is beeing made and both can easily be switched with eachother when the devs are ready to make a dicision.

Absolutely ALL pros and cons have been spoken and all posts from noow on is pointless and annoying, if you feel like you wan't to continue this discussion please do it in the Off Topic section in the forums.

Hey maxmanus!
NF are getting the HK416. Please read the designplan at the first post in this thread.

Link: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f275-norwegian-forces/46854-norwegian-design-plan.html#post811610

As of the Joint Strike Fighter, the NF-crew have discussed the issue. We are determined to only use equipment used by the Norwegian Army up to date. This meaning that JSF will be implemented to NF when the Norwegian military are using it.

You are obviously correct, gentlemen, but I believe this is what's called "flisespikkeri" in Norwegian. ;)

But seriously, the F35 isn't scheduled to enter service for about another 10 years, IIRC.

which in turn makes everyone in the area safer.

According to mil.no the F-16's will reach the end of their lifetime around 2020, and the F-35's are planned to be used from 2020 to 2050.

Also before anyone starts asking:
Norway has bought/ordered/or whatever the F-35A (the CTOL variant), so it won't be able to hover or take off vertically ;)

Big plane meant for transport over different countries, thousands of kilometers and the max size of a map can be 4km does not really adds up dont you think? :D

Norway do not have the AC-130, which is a gunship, they only have the C-130j, a transport aircraft
