flying BH on chicago 24/7 kashan, reloading a crate for a resupply, then POP, shizzloads of alarms and vibrations, so i get out and voila XD

Last time I saw something like that happen the spawning Huey blew up the one on its spawn and killed the pilot in it.

I tweaked with my PRSP..
This can easily be done yourself, if you want max view distance of 2km follow these steps:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr_sp_08\levels
Go to that folder, your shortcut may be different, but it's important to go to the levels folder of SP(you may also want to backup if you want to play Coop online)

Enter any levels folder.

Open up server.zip

Scroll down and open init.con with notepad

Find the line called:
Quote:
GameLogic.MaximumLevelViewDistance
There will be a number after that, now the maximum view distance for any PR map you will need is 2km, so the max is 2000, however for maps like Asad Khal, you will only need about 1000.

However, this will make your view distance complete.

Close the init.con and scroll down in the server.zip and find the sky.con

Right at the bottom will be some code looking like this:

Renderer.fogStartEndAndBase 30.00/250.00/1.40/0.40
Any numbers will be here.

30 Stands for when the fog starts,
250 stands for when it ends.

The other two, I don't know, but they aren't important.

Change those to 1990/2000 or any values you want.

This should get you maximum level view distance in game for any map.

It was there briefly in 0.7 or 0.8. And I think it might still be there in singleplayer.

Lynx was on Basrah in 0.85, when it was released and yes it's still on in PR SP.

Also 0.85 was out this January, so dunno where you get the 0.7 idea from?

Well, nowhere really. That's why I wasn't 100% positive it was correct.

But yea, 0.85 is correct.

Ive been playing for a year but i didnt play basrah until a few months ago, i always thought a heli would be useful on that map aswell i cant believe it was taken away :(
