thats great squaddie! is he getting a pistol geom?
what about giving sunglasses to unscoped rifleman and officer, and no glasses to the scoped ones, just to have a consistent difference?

Wow...simply wow. You really put alot of effort into these, can't wait to see theme ingame. Just a suggestion tho, the DPM need to look more battle worn, you know what i mean, the models just look a bit too clean.
BTW are you planning on doing crewman and pilot kits aswell or just infantry?

Do British forces carry a waist belt? If so it would be ncie to see it added in like the American forces have, makes it look more complete.

The only thing I'm worried about is it looking too smooth in the end, one thing I actually like about the EA models is how they made it look very much like Fabric.

Oh and also, what happened to teh short sleeve varients?

Rudd AFAIK that would be uncomfortable, the UBACs i use are padded forearms, so rolling them up is rather not nice. Though thats rip off surplus stuff, can't say 100% what the real deal does.

Looking great but id love to see them a bit more broad. The chest especailly seems to small and thin just like with the current british models imo. These guys are though men not 16 year old kids :D

Yes. I agree. The models should be a bit heavier.

@ j45h89 and Dr2b Rudd

The textures are very plain at the moment yes, but there is a good reason for that. The general wear and wrinkles within the actual fabric are best portrayed imo, through the use of normal and bump maps. However my current work on these are slow due to my lack of experience with them. But to get a general idea of what it will look like take a look at the sleaves on this wip...

the best part about bump maps is that they accomodate the light source aswell. What i mean by that is, in different areas the light will catch it and change the contrast making it look much more realistic and adding to the realism of the actual fabric.

It should look nice when I manage to get the whole thing completed ;)

Oh and I will get you a whole shot of the model soon. Just on my laptop at the moment.
