Will there ever be more water born assets in PR? Aside from the Frigate that will be coming in Falklands. Would love for some more naval based maps with coastal gun support.

assetruler69: I've seen things you smurfs wouldn't believe. Apaches on the Kashan. I watched burned down tank hulls after the launch of the single TOW. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Agreed. The skirmish alt layer of Shijia with 18 RHIBs is a blast to play! That and the Vietnam gunboats are fun too. I wouldn't mind seeing a couple more maps setup for some small scale naval firefights!

Vadso is also fun with the island flag, attacking it with three British RHIBs spraying the island.

Will there be scope-less variants of some factions(russians mostly) anytime in the near future?

Also will the opfor factions be fixed so we can make opfor vs opfor maps?

You can play opfor vs opfor or blu vs blu already on AAS. Just doesn't seem to work well on INS last I heard.

When we had the map pack on prta we could not use unscoped opfor vs unscoped opfor (hamas vs fsa for example) that's why I had to use US vietnam faction on Bamyan, otherwise map crashed on 100%.

Will there be another dev blog with awesome vehicles/game mechanics/items we can use in game next update anytime soon?

Will we see illumination rounds for the mortars on night maps? Would be pretty cool and useful.

I'm pretty sure the FDF was never planned to be in 1.4 to begin with. They've still got a long way to go, I wouldn't expect them to be finnish'ed for at least another few years, if ever. The Polish faction, on the other hand, has made a lot more progress, and the development schedule in their design plan only extends to December 2015, so I assumed they were aiming to get it polish'ed and ready for 1.4

FDF is still very much in development but has no release planned yet, meaning it's not on the table for a while. Polish however are calculated in a future release but not the next one. But one day Poland will into PR space.

Also, our next release is v1.3.5 :) Not v1.4. What could that mean?

Nor was the Polish Forces... As it has been said time and time again, the main new addition of v1.4 is the re-integration of PR:Falklands

Which doesn't mean nothing else like Polish faction could be in v1.4 :p Question was rather valid but has been answered. Moving on from release questions now :p

I have started playing as a sniper lately and keep wondering this: Do you get more points for longer kill distances?

Depends on what you're calling 'points' :)
As for me, every 'thanks' in mumble either in chat counts as point.
But techincally yes - you get more points for longer kills.
