Wow, no offense, but that really seems like a silly reason not to play. Use the gun as best you can, or request the SAW and play a different role altogether.
No the reson iv stopped playing is because i dont want to get frustrated by getting owned 99% when playing USMC. Theres at least 5 maps that dont have the USMC that the only ones that are fare the rest give an un exeptable advantage to one team.

dont play the maps you dont like? aint hard, you only connect to servers with maps you like, and disconnect if they change to a map you dont like, then connect to another server with a map you like?

maybe you should think about your comments cos in fact only 1/2 of the maps have the USMC on them, + I have already gave you a very easy solution on how not to play maps with the USMC on them.
I don't see any problem with the M16 in this mod. The sights are pretty accurate compared to the real thing, burst rate is pretty much right on, and the appearance is just fine.
An M16 will only be accurate out to around 300m, and even at that range it takes skill and practice to hit a target that is stationary. I am a marksman and even I have trouble sometimes hitting a moving target past 250m, and in this game I do pretty well with the M16.
Burst mode will suck at range. The purpose of burst is for providing suppressive or covering fire, and for MOUT combat where close-range fighting occurs and loss of accuracy from burst is minimal. I prefer to get 30 squeezes off than 10 or so anyways.
And I am a former US Army soldier, US Infantry Weapons Expert, and certified armorsmith. I know the M16 as well as anyone else on this forum, and I can say I see no issues with the M16 in game that would prevent myself or anyone wanting to use it over any other base-kit battle rifle.
When you get old enough to handle one of these in real life, and can actually compare it to the ingame version, then I might listen to your complaints with interest. As of now, I see a kid complaining about a weapon in a game because he doesn't know how to use it properly.
